I am about to be able to cloak, but dont have Cov Ops cloak 2, is there a named variant that will let me move around quickly whilst cloaked. I can fly Buzzard at this point.

Main difference is targetting penatlies and that you can't warp cloaked without it.

Train up Covert Ops skill to lvl 4 so that you can fit the cov-ops cloak II.
It will also offer you the advantage of having more CPU to play when fitting a cloaking device. the buzzard is the most giving in the CPU department though so it's not too hard to fit.
In the meantime, you will not be able to warp cloaked.

Thanx guys, not sure what that means exactly, 'warp cloaked', does that mean I arrive cloaked at the next spot, like a gate and stay cloaked, or does it mean I can use a MWD and stay cloaked whilst I buzz around?

Ships with regular cloaks can't warp (initiate warp) while cloaked or cloak while warping. (We're talking about warping, not about running a microwarpdrive. That's a totally different thing.) That is, with a non-cov ops cloak you have to turn the cloak off to be able to warp and you can't turn it back on until you are out of warp.
With a cov ops cloak (which only cov ops frigates, not stealth bombers though, and Force Recon ships ar able to fit) you CAN warp while cloaked.
As for microwarpdrives, you can't turn them or afterburners on while cloaked no matter what type of cloak you have. What you CAN do (and it's very useful when you jump into a gate camp) is turn on the mwd/ab and then right away cloak. The mwd/ab will stay on for the rest of the cycle and then turn off on its own and stay off. So you will get a short burst of speed of it even though you're cloaked. But that's something you can do with any cloak, you'll just have different speed penalties from the cloaking.

Covert Ops 4 does not allow you to use the Covert Ops cloak. You need Cloaking 4.
