So I was poking around the reviews for the fan fest when I stumbled across this site...

Has anyone tried this out or even seen it yet
Looks cool but would rather ask before downloading any kind of unknown plug-in.

One of the corpmates is on the developing team and he said public beta has not started yet. I think the developers of webwars were waiting before posting this in the forums. Well... cat's out of the bag now, I suppose.
From what I've seen I can say it's going to be fantastic.

Uhhhh..... a friend of mine  doesn't know what Webwars is. Can somebody explain a little what it is.

The web site explains it fairly well, you "own" a web site and it gives you more resorces (Isk) that you can buy more ships with. these you can use to claim more systems....
But people can also claim yours by coming along with a big fleet...
The resorce gain fro a site is directly proportional to the number of visitors it recieves each day, so google, my space, face book etc..... will gain you more new ships than a barley used site such as the Eve-O forums ;)
Thats the jist of it as i understand it... i may be wrong, i'm looking forward to it either way.

I dont think its based off sites you "own" but rather what sites you can take over based on visited pages ex:
www.sample.com/"page1"(.html/.asp/.php/etc...)
then
www.sample.com/"page2"(.html/.asp/.php/etc...) *(number of visits)/days/mins/(length of time spent)
or something like that...
I would be interested if someone knew the real details...
