That is the problem with this system.
I became aware of it when I 'befriended' some isk farmers that provide me with valuable information about their operations in game.
Since they cannot really play legally in some countries or because they cannot use their banking systems they use GTCs, which basically just adds to their profit because they are not paying to play in the end - you are.
