I'm sick of all the unused old cans in low sec, however as most of you know, those things can take a pounding.
What do you suggest as the best ship to pop these cans quickly? If you could include a fitting (specific to popping cans) that would be great.
The security rating decrease doesn't bother me.

I'd think a close-range geddon with highest damage/short range crystals (w/e those happen to be) are the best bet, as long as you are cap stable.
Minimal ammo costs and high DPS.

probably an amarr titan with tons of drones out. that or a smartbombing mothership. as far as anything practical an amarr battleship or a smartbombing anything would do lots of damage with no ammo used. load up the amarr guns with multi and full heatsinks in the lows. smart bombs with a large enough radius can hit multiple cans.
lol. spellcheck says that lol, amarr, and spellcheck are spelled wrong

Its not like kill rights matter if you're -10 already...

LoL, exactly.
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I can't fly amarr BS, so maybe I'll try the smartbomb idea. Maybe I can do one belt a day, lmao, I hate cans.

Good to hear someone's making a move against the can littering :P
Problem: Cans Solution: Belt rats attack cans.
Question - why do cans have so much HP? It's ridiculous =\

so people aren't constantly shooting them. for amarr that's not a problem as ammo is free. ---

this man speaks the truth, bar none revelation is the best ship ingame
sure other dreads can do more dps but when you throw in reload times and ammo consumption revelation is way better

Need to double check but I'm near 100% sure smartbombs don't effect cans. Also fighters/drones don't attack cans either so you can't use them. Best trick is either dreads for killing lots of cans quickly in the same area, or a armageddon/abaddon should finish it in less than 20mins easy. Dread in siege will nuke a can in less than a minute or two.

There's one problem with the Revelation.
Siege mode takes fuel.
Expenditure of any kind is the Devil when it comes to can-popping.
