It started a few days ago. I had trained for a month to use sniping gear on my Megathron. All specifically to camp lowsec systems infested with ISK farmers , and kill wave after wave of haulers. Bookmarking a few sniper spots , until the action began.
Sure enough , the first 10 haulers leave a crunchy taste , neatly dying in 2 volleys from my railguns. Still , the systems weren't all that active , and the traffic was mostly comprised of shuttles and frigates , rarely killed. I had to wait late in the night (morning in chinese time) to see local numbers rise over 30. Finally , non-stop farmer popping.
The next day , they started adapting to my presence. Some haulers seemed to have a larger shield buffer , or warp before my second volley landed. They were being clever and redocking when I was sniping at the station. But armor damage adds up and I kept racking up kills. The odd caracals weren't killable , but today I noticed an unusual ship of theirs - a thorax. I thought it would remain on a defensive stance forever - but at some point it warped right on top of me. It turns out the farmers used cloaked frigates (or haulers) to gangwarp and bust my sniper spots !
I started panicking a little , as this sniper megathron had no tank and wasn't meant to fight up close. Switching to antimatter , dropping transversal , but my pretty ECM drones were being shot down... deploying warrior IIs and hesitating - should I kill his hammerheads to buy some time ? His tank was failing , time to just focus on the ship. Since I had no scrambler , it managed to warp out with 5% structure... to a stargate , where he became a sitting duck for my delight. Scratch one protector.
Though I started sniping alone , I befriended a local pirate also on the crusade. His Cyclone would make short work of the farmer's combat ship , and tank sentries. We started flying in tandem to kill haulers faster , and hoped to bait them into bringing stronger reinforcements. It did work in the end...
Things were going well today - high on morale , and a decent hauler killing rate. The farmers escalated this conflict by bringing a Megathron and a Raven. Obviously meant to counter me. They started locating most of my sniper spots , but I always managed to escape in time , staying aligned. My fellow gangmate thought it was a nice opportunity to bait them to a fight. His Cyclone could match them ; but the farmers were after me.
Nothing replaces a heavy duty ganksquad. 2 BS were enough to perk the interest of my alliance mates , and so we laid the trap. I was afraid they would sense it (after all , they have alts all over the place) but finally the 2 battleships undocked again. However , they didn't attack my mate's Cyclone - not even with sentries shooting him. They had successfully deaggressed before , and I wanted them to die. I warped to my sniping spot they had already marked.
Sure enough , the mega warps to me. I was aligned already , but the Raven didn't start shooting - it was likely to survive if I were gone. There wasn't enough time to have the visual confirmation that my mate was warping in , before I got tackled. With no ECM drones , I had to fight to the death. Tracking wasn't much of a problem , but my lack of tank suddenly felt very painful. The whole gang was now jumping in , and the mega's armor was going down. Not as fast as mine , however. It was pretty much neutralized , but I still could not warp out - and the Raven was now doing most of the damage to my structure. Remote repairers were activated and armor started fluctuating - but my structure still going down. Right as I was being repaired over 20% armor , the Raven's last volley bled through to my last bit of structure.
As I warped my pod back to the battlefield , the farmer's Megathron wreck was lying next to mine. The Raven has been killed as well , but sentries victimized our logistics ship. All in all , a costly battle - but we caused significant losses to the farmers.
Now do your part. I did.

You should have changed your sniper to a short range mega when you were baiting. They wouldnt have expected that.

Why were you baiting in a sniper?
And why bother? You understand that what takes few of you hours of work and lost time to achieve they recover using way more people, manhours, and dedication (they earn for living after all) than you can possibly invest?
IP range ban is answer altough cruel so won't happen, this is imo just losing your own nerves, playing time and in-game resources for no real gain.

No real gain?
Gotten plenty of t2/best named loot from farmers and the local carebears were even so happy with our work that they paid us for it and we didn't even have to ask.
Not to mention that if it is fun that is all that matters.
Also, nothing cruel about an ip-range ban. The Chinese already have their own server.

If I understood correctly you lost a t2 fitted BS and a logistic. Were they rigged? And knowing how much t2 mods cost these days... I'd say you didnt gain much. Could be wrong of course, no idea what exactly did you loot.
P.S.
Yes they have their own server, that's why I mentioned IP ban. But it's still a bit... Europe mid 30ies. I'd do it tough. But I'm evil.

No idea if the ships were rigged but logistics are cheap and BS insure pretty well. That doesn't even matter because it is not about a single fight, I've been consistently bagging the chinese ravens for the better part of the week. Most have arby launchers and a t2 shield tank. Not any faction fittings, but still worth the time involved and better fittings than a lot of real players in low sec.
I agree that these guys have deep pockets, but if we can make a slight dent, turn a profit while doing so, and most importantly have fun- why should we not?

Please come to the mamet area and clean out all the macros in mamet and the surrounding system. At times there are 80-90 people in local with probably 70 of them probably being isk farmers and macros. They deserve death so come bring it upon them.

A buddy and I started a mini-crusade against a certain known isk farming corp...they are definitely getting smarter. After a week of torment, they apparently got tired of dieing or cloaking and logging (obviously losing money). After 'baiting' them into a trap, it shortly became obvious that we were the 'baited'. Shortly after engaging 2 ravens, they brought in the recon...and ruined all intentions we had of killing them. Isk farmer hunting is definitely evolving.
