As always, in a battle between EvE and WoW EvE would win every time.
Why?
Range!
100% of all WoW attacks have a very short range, the shortest being point blank and the abilities with the furthest range being what? 200m, 300?
Eve ships are hard pressed to get that close to stuff.
So yes, a mage would be able to teleport onto a ship is we went in extremely close and did not accidently squish him against the ground in the bump.
As for wrecking havoc from the inside... ever heard of venting?
Ok so I have a mage in my typhoon, sensors state he is in the aft section, fine I vent all the air out of it and he dies in vaccum and has to res at a graveyard with summoning sickness and I have a neat skeletal design on the floor where he perished for a few days.
So we dont go close, 1km should be more than enough range to stay well out of danger from anything.
Next naturally comes targeting, this will be a ***** I admit, locking onto a gnome rouge will take the better part of a week but naturally there are options, FoF missiles, drones, smartbombs (who for once will be aptly named as each detonation will leave the living world smarter)...
I guess what would happen is that we put 3 or so ships to constantly smartbomb each graveyard, have roving teams track down and kill the people and once dead tractor the corpse upp and scoop to deny resing at the body. The real amusing thing would be to webbify a WoW player... but I digress. Then go on a rampage and wipe out all the cities and static NPC mobs with long range bombardment.
Pretty soon no open air areas will be populated, the WoW players hiding away in instances and underground dungeons.
Naturally we cant win, before the first day is over BoB will have claimed all of the high lev areas as their own and Red and goons will be at their throats just to mention one allaince conflict.
At the same time pirate squads will attack the cemetary guards to get some easy kills and all the empire traders, manufacturers, miners and haulers will head back to EvE in order to keep upp their buisnises.
The lack of interesting targets will have the pirates following the pray back home to EvE and I expect even the big alliances will come back to keep an eye on their 0.0 areas.
Daily excursions to kill some WoW players will naturally continue and the portal into EvE will initially be cluttered with skeletal biomass from lev 70 chars on flying steeds who have died from disfixiation when entering the vaccum of EvE.
All in all a rather dull prospect.
