I'm doing level 3 missions and a few of the storyline missions have BS's in them.
how long would it take for a drake to take down a bs.?

Several minutes for each BS.
Drakes are perfectly viable for most level 4 missions. They have a superb tank, but pretty weak DPS.

That sounds like that one ten-parter storyline (can't remember what it's called). In all cases in that series of missions, none of the BS's NEED to be killed. You kill em if you want, but none of them are necessary. |

Thanks.i'm not sure yet about taking on level 4's yet.lol
i think my drake has a decent tank.
it's got 3 extenders t2 and resist mods in the meds
and 2 bcs t2 and 2 spr t2 in the lows
and 2 cdpr's and an extender rig

if it is the 10 stage important there are 7 bs's total, easiest way to kill em, is first hit the strucure u need to pop then the 2 waves agro you, take out the frigs and cruisers first, if you need to run after that, dont worry when you come back none of the ships agro you, so you have the time to pick out one of the waves and kill em 1 by 1 crappy loot but nice enough bounty's

With only one t1 bcs and mediocre missile skills my drake can down any bs up to 900k bounty in 5-10 minutes. Definetly worth it for the bounties. Also you might want to look at fitting another purger instead of the extender rig. You'll get a little more recharge out of your shields which would help a lot more in longer fights than the extra 2k health. Other than that your tank is about the best you're gonna get module wise. Besides trading out some bcs's for spr's. My tank is identical to yours and the only problem I've had in L4's is when I botched the 3rd or 4th room in guri extravaganza.
