Meh so i just went and watched it with the gf (who hid alot behind me) i thought it was all "ok" untill then end then just meh.......worst ending ever .
Just thought i would share my disapointment with ya.

Yeah...pretty weak mostly but having your GF jump into your arms for protection seems to me enough to make watching it worthwhile.

30 days of night= fail
I haven't been disappointed like that in a long time. Not a vampire movie, not a zombie movie, not a ...I'm not sure what it was supposed to be. Script was bad. Plot was bad. Much of the vampzombie acting was REALLY bad. I'm talking like 70's werewolf movie bad. There was no spiritual aspect (crosses, holy water) nor any science aspect (virus, genetic engineering gone bad). No fangs just bad teeth, weird eyes, oh and super strength.
Call me a traditionalist but this movie lacked a beginning and an ending. It was just filler.

They couldn't find them all in a small village over 30 days AND nights, vampires being able to move around non-stop and being able to perform such feats as catching up to a truck running on snow then for some reason becoming imcompetent for the remaining time till they just hours before sun-up manages to torch the village to flush the rest out?
Where did they all go, where do they hide out in the tundra, do they burrough?
Admittedly my take on the movie is severly affected by me watching the pirate version where all of the subtitles for the vampire conversation got cut. Still the remaining impression is WTF!?

Hmm, I haven't seen the film, but I now really want to work out the exact latitude required to have 30*24 hours of night time. I'll be back later...
