Yesterday was bad too. So bad that I think the lag killed my video card. Now I have the video card replacement blues and I was singing.
(tune of video killed the radio star)

Jita is like this just about every day. Weekends being especially bad. But then again thats pretty much general knowledge.

The problem is, there ARE no better servers. That's why they are building their own. It's not this way from lack of trying.

I got in, bought the skill books I needed and while I was waiting for them to load into the "items" tab I got booted. Now I'm trying to log back in.
I hope I didn't lose my ISK on the books I bought.
Oh and it's been 45 minutes on the Entering station screen...

i did not even want to go to jita...
my autopilot set it as wp...
now i'm stuck, my ship prolly blown up by some campers on the other side, i'll know only in an hour or two...

Umm... How could campers blow you up in Jita? I mean unless you are at war with somebody it is High Sec. Wouldn't Concord squash them?

Umm... How could campers blow you up in Jita? I mean unless you are at war with somebody it is High Sec. Wouldn't Concord squash them?
Guess what happens when an entire system measures its lag in minutes rather than milliseconds. Use something cheap and weak, you've got ages before CONCORD lags over and pops your suicide alt anyway, afterwards you lag to the wreck and loot it, takes ages, but i imagine its quite profitable with all the expensive stuff being brought to Jita.

it takes no more than a couple volleys from a t1 cruiser (t1 fitted) to bring down an untanked trasher...
you can either suicide a bunch of frigates, if the lagged ship owner can't activate modules to repair it, you can do the job alone... :|

OMG Jita was lagging so bad that i decided to stop playing. It took me at least 10 min to get through the gate and then I still wasnt able to go anywhere..
Ive been trying to log on ever since but the lag is so bad that when i try to log on it takes so long that the game cancels my attempt and i can start all over. There's no way now that i can even enter the game...
Any advise that can help me get inside the game again and out of Jita?? Maybe there are certain time periods in wich its best to try??

Good thing there are no "victims" when it comes to Jita. Every single person is there by choice. You can go around if you're just passing through, you can reject missions there, and you obviously don't have to buy or sell there.
Of course, so many want to have their cake and eat it too. By which I mean a hugely popular market center with no lag, with up to and over a thousand people, buying your stuff quick and selling you things cheap.
Saw something funny today. Complaining about Jita is like complaining about how slamming your hand in a drawer hurts. Stop slamming your hand in the drawer, and it won't hurt any more.
