Ok I frequently hall my goodies across empire and this suicide nonsense seems to be getting popular so I'm starting to take notice.
I am assuming the gankers scan your cargo hold to assess whether it's worth having a go so my question is, when you store your goods in a freighter or other container, does the scanner see inside them?

Question - if they're in secure containers, they can't be looted, right?

You can repackage the can at a station and all the loot dumps out.

they simply can scoop the container into their cargohold ( hauler ) and grab the stuff on a station even if you have set a pw i think
what they also can do is scanning ur ship with a "ship scanner" to see your fitting without all concord aggression

Just stuff a thousand bookmarks into a small can and warp away as they wait for the scan results. |

I pretty sure that is an exploit since you are purposely creating lag. The best way to combat it is just don't haul bpos and other high value low m3 in paper thin haulers at least use a blockade runner. Why are you still reading? Its over. Continue to the next post.

Even with the lag-spike from a few thousand BMs, the scanning pilot can still scroll through the list to see the goodies. A good gank team will have one or two dedicated scanners as well as a dedicated hauler. (Hauler can also be a scanner if need be) If you're a tempting enough target, they'll follow you around until they find just the right spot. _______________________________

Y'know, I detest lag-sploit tactics as much as the next guy, but using them to combat suicide gank teams seems somehow fitting.

creating bm's and large amounts of single unit stacks with the intention to create lag is considered as an exploit. One can however create those bms and stacks with the intention to sell it or some bull**** RP-reason. And because you spent all that time making the cans you would want to carry them with you all the time in case you find a buyer, right?

People should test out these theories prior to posting, or are they just social engineering so that people continue to haul expensive goodies in untanked ships?
