Has this been fixed yet? I didn't see anything about it on the patch notes..
I will go to the fitting screen often, and most of the time I find a module on my ship disabled. Well it was enabled last time I was on the fitting screen. I didn't change anything.. Kind of weird that it's disabled next time I check.
And it's not a powercore or cpu thing neither. Because i've notice modules like the cargo expander will mysteriously disable. And that module does not require any powercore or cpu.

If someone could reproduce this on chaos running the logger and can send the log files from the relevant times to [email protected] with a description of what they did, it would expedite fixing this.
I do not recall having received bug reports about this problem. How long has it has been happening? There have been problems in the past along these lines, but they were fixed. -- Richard CCP Programmer. Anything said above is not the official line, but my own take or opinion. |

been happening for as long as i've been playing i believe(little over a month).
seems mostly a graphical bug with displaying the red or green lights. theres no way for me to know if an item is actually activated or just pretending to be unless i undock and test all activatable items.
especially a problem if you remove/disable reactor controls or coprocessors etc and then reequip, i can enable and disable to my hearts content, think everything work, then first time i try to fire my guns use my mwd or whatever and @%#$^$!!, not enough cpu/grid to enable.
my workaround is to just remove and reequip items i think may be lying, fixes it in most cases.
cargo expanders and injectors seems red at all times, but still work. i can recall a single time when a module simply disabled for no discernable reason(i hadnt been to fittings for a good while) no idea what caused it however, so cant reproduce.

Yes i lost 3 crusers to this yester day. Everytime i docked and checked my fiting my warp core stab was dissabled. Beeing a pirate in a cruser you can imagine how suppriced i was i could not warp out , over and over again...

guys, please stop complaining - start testing on Chaos. There is only little sense to write about bugs on TQ. Disabling of modules has been fixed as far as i know. There may however be some cases were it still happens. We need to know your exact ship layout together with good reproduction steps to be able to reproduce this bug. We can only fix what we can reproduce.

To be honnest. From the threatment i have got from polaris on this forums i dont even petition. I just dont beleve i would be threated fairly. Thus so i ont send in bug reports either.

Same thing has been happening to my Iteron mk III's cargo expanders I noticed last night. I'll try testing it on Chaos and logging it, but as a newbie, I have no idea how to do that in this game. Trial and error I guess.

Yeah. when I started this thread. The chaos server had been down (every time I checked) for more than a week. So I couldn't test this out. Plus it's so random, that it might not even happen to me on chaos at all while I am there. But I did checked the chaos server every day waiting for it to be up and running. Just so I could test this bug. Because I hate this bug nStuff.
So far after yesterdays patch. This hasnÆt happened to me again. But if it does I will add more details.

Been using 1mn mwd's on this frig for a while today. Timed them to shut off between 26-33 seconds, usually 30-33 seconds, though they do stop every now and then around 26.
CAP is not a problem, doesn't usually drop below about 60% cap on the ship, the MWD's just cut out 1 at a time every 30 seconds or so. ------------------- Basic truths? Idiots make us rich. - Some people are only alive because it is illegal to kill them. |

Are you sure it's not just the loss of your electronics/engineering bonuses to the ship that disable it? I know when I leave the ship/log off, the tf/grid return to default values, and it willy'nilly disables things till it gets to a dead state. Then I log on, or switch ships, I have to go back and enable things. -- TomB: End the speed-race. 1 propulsion mod allowed, make turrets affect ship attributes like +speed/+ab speed +agil for progressivly smaller/lighter turrets, -speed/-ab speed -agil for long-range. |

You should start a new post on this issue, as it's not the same problem.
But I do know what youÆre talking about. Shield Boosters also turn off after about 30 seconds. even when they are on autorepeat
After more testing. It seems to only happen when you're low on cap. Like on my newbie ship, The Impairor, I can run a Small Booster continuously. But when it gets down to like 50% cap, the shield booster disables. Could be the cap displaying wrong, but like I said. I can run the booster continuously. So I'm not sure what's it about. |

i get this bug to very annoying i always recheck my setup when i get diff cpu it can turn bad when your siheld booster wont turn on in comebat ya know
