In any case ... to all these oh so clever 'dont fly that much around in a freighter' guys ... what the heck do we have em for then when we cant fill em up , and most ppl who have such cargos certainly dont bother about flying god knows how often with a freighter or to get escorts (lol?) each time ... heck, even a freighter full of Mex is worth more than 30 domis
having eventually one freighter worth some bill killed is -less- nuisance than the effort of god knows how many runs each day/week/month/whatever
If you think otherwise ... well ... your display of poverty and lack of class is pretty disgusting

And because of this Concord get yet another buff. I was part on a large dev lead gang of Domies on Sisi yesterday and was supposed to gank a freighter in Jita.
5*1600 rolled tungsten, 1 adaptive nano, 3 Large shield extenders + 1 inv field.
T2 zerkers + large blasters
Lolz.. Bad plan! All ships got BBQed in less than 1 sec and drones went passive.
I don't have any screenies to show for it, but I think the only way to do it in the future would be to sneak up real close with Torp Ravens and let loose enough missiles to single-wolley it as there is NO way you'll get 2 rounds off.

arrrr skunky :) do i sense some bitterness towards us? your jelous you aint doing rediculous things with us
CI is having fun atm :) and we're doign it in style.. just war deced a few alliences for some luls so please fight us / gank us we will mostly be flying round in freighters seeing whso the first to die aswell as battle badger ops...

So each pilot made 80 million isk out of that loot (estimate) in exchange for the sec drop. Say three hours each ratting to get the sec back. Took you 5 hours odd to do it. Not really worth it in an Isk to hours ratio.
Any salvage?

Yeah - all the freighters I ever killed were before the freighter loot drop patch which was annoying. Also had three log off on me in low sec only two days ago - most annoying.

Hmm... I didn't think you could split your gang / fleet window from the overview yet... and a DT at 20 mins past 7pm EVE time? Was this on Sisi per chance?

It will be just as easy then, you'll only need more pilots. And it might even be cheaper, fielding a lot of ravens fitted ONLY with 6 siege launchers I (unnamed, as there will be only 1 volley), 6 faction torps (1 per launcher) and some BCU's. No modules on mid slots or the 2 extra high. With raven prices theses days and insurance payoff, it looks like a good deal.

Dear CCP (hope a gm takes a look here),
I already tried to reduced my carried goods to a value of 2-4bil. Seems it was still to juicy. Now i have to reduce my maximum cargo value to 1bil. How crappy is that, instead of using one char i now have to blob everytime with 3-4 alts. Was that the purpose of these freighter changes? Don't understand me wrong, to loot a freighter make sense, but don't make it so easy to kill them, since there is nearly no possibility to avoid it, except to reduce the cargo value to a point when killing is more expensive.
So plz remove the insurance completely from the game (or at least when concord is on the killmail don't pay it out). A Domi costs only 25mil insured & T1 fitted with T2 drones, since you need a maximum of around 20, a freighter kill kosts only 500mil.
Removing the insurance completely would also reduce the inflation and make 0.0 warfare much more interesting, since even a T2 BS loss doesn't really hurt anymore after the mod prices dropped.
Btw. strange that a freighter kill is worth a forum post these days
