Uh...Was wondering if this is happening to others or is it just me right this moment? I looked around on forum, seems like so far I'm the only one...

Ah, nope. Restarting my modem didnt work. When I go to www.cnn.com the layout suddenly got very simple, simple layout, etc but BBC news is fine as well as EVE website...this whole thing is weird.

packetloss generally wont be your fault mate, go to your ISPs forums, see if they are having any issues, you could try doing "tracert -d www.cnn.com"
to see if that gives you a clue where the issues are (looking for long response times etc), i suspect i will just clear up mate, its a routing, or packet loss QOS type issue.

When I suspect packet loss, I do a tracert to whatever site/IP seems to have problems. I then do a ping -t to each IP on the list to see if there are any missing packets, or long response times.
I helped narrow down a big problem once that turned out to be a tree rubbing a hole in the cable line at the end of the street PLACE SIGNATURE HERE What?! [Insert event here] happened? Quick, start a new thread on the forums! "Moot", not "mute". |

What I did was download TuneUp Utilities 2007, letting the program go all out fixing and cleaning and do whatever it's designed to do, then it told me that it will start the laptop into some blue screen checking mode after a restart. So after 1 hour waiting while it does a self checking, the laptop came back fully online including internet and all.
All I did was click a few buttons and the laptop did the rest of the work
Whatever works right? Thanks everyone for your help!
