Well, the skill Advanced Spaceship Command gives a bonus to agility to freighters (and only freighters) for every level you have trained. After that it's just Spaceship Command and Evasive Manoevering to further help with agilty (faster aligning), and Navigation to help with (sub-warp) velocity.

To get into warp faster, get a corp alt and just webify the freighter.

Not true. ASC gives a bonus to agility for all ships that require ASC to train. So that includes freighters, capital industrial ships (rorqual) and all capital ships - carriers, dreads, moms and titans), as you need ASC V to train Capital Ships.
Unless there is some sort of bug you are referring to. Going by the skill dsecription, however, it affects all capital ships.

Well, the skill says "Grants a 5% Bonus per skill level to the agility of ships requiring Advanced Spaceship Command." To my understanding, that means that the ship must have Advanced Spaceship Command as one of its Required Skills. The capital ships generally require Capital Ships, Jump Drive Operation and a class-specific skill, so to my knowledge they don't get the agility boost.
And yes, I know that you have to have Advanced Spaceship Command to level 5 to train the Capital Ships skill, but I don't believe that counts, from the wording. I might be wrong. It's one of those things that's hard to tell (and to a certain extent is irrelevant - if you're in a capital ship, you don't need to know whether ASC gives you an agility bonus since if it does, you can consider it 'built in' to the ships since you've already maxed it).

Smart people: Train for the Charon, get someone in corp or alt in corp to web the ship. Stupid people: Buy the 'Vegabond of Freighters' thinking its going to actually make a big difference.
In all honesty, unless its AFK hauling (in which case, when you die - you can't cry) but somehow you actually care about the align speed. . .which is a strange thought (I want to get there fast. . .but I want to afk haul) in which case bulk = profit, there is 0 advantage to selecting a smaller cargo bay. Train Caldari Industry 5 and Caldari Freighter and never look back. . .seriously. -----------

So...which freighter would be better to train? I have amarr and caldari industrial to 4....I love the looks of the amarr freighter...but the caldari freighter has a bigger cargohold

Caldari Freighter is a little better, however if u get amarr industrial to lvl 5 u can get the impel(transport ship) which is on par with the iteron V.
iteron v= 38K cargohold paperthin shield and armor impel = 36.4K cargohold good armor and shield (hard to sucide bomb in high-sec)

Its true, the Impel is great, the Proator is also fantastic - 2 i-stabs, 2 nanos and 2 cargo expander rigs means you get the second largest cargo bay of the blockade runners with very fast warp speed (2.4 secs I think).
But ultimatly, Hauling is really a Caldari thing, its their racial strength and they have the largest cargo bays - in the end, thats all that matters.

At this point someone should mention about Crane, her 2 lowslots and powergrid. :)

And the Iteron V.
Really, chose whatever freighter you want. The speeds are all low and the cargobays all huge, so just take the one you find most pleasing. ----------------

rapiers and hugins are a freighters best friend, get an alt with one trained up and get him in your corp and slow warping freighters are a thing of the past, infact you actually make a freighter warp as fast or faster then a cruiser with a double webbed rapier or hugin.
now increasing the inwarp speed.... are their rig slots on a freighter? if so fill em with the warp speed increasers but I am not even sure that works.

Why is it that webbing the ships helps it warp faster, is it a bug or some sort of ship handeling?

As I understand it, ships warp when they get to 75% of their maximum speed.
If you artificially lower that maximum speed they get to that limit in an instant and as a consequence appear to instawarp.

Bingo.
And no, the Bustard has the largest cargo-bay as does the crane - and with the low slots you fit I-stabs and Nanos for the blockade runner, and for the Bustard you fit cargo-expanders. Sure the Iteron V is nice, but its a T1 industrial, I would expect people to train for the 4 industrial ships they fly: Blockade runner, transport ship and freighter - in all of these cases, unless its aesthetic, the Caldari are the kings. Its in their storyline (the evacuation from Caldari Prime) as well as the numbers. The Caldari will always have the biggest bays.
As far ass choising other a races go - no one choses a freighter based on its natural speed. . .you chose it based on its cargo capacity. -----------

Freighters have no Rig Slots [I think they should - though perhaps not cargo ones]

My Bustard with rigs and aexpanders can hold 30k m3 cargo, when Occator 35k.
On the other hand, Impel can hold 36k and only Mastodon has smaller - only 29k.

Unless compared to other transports. :P
