ANP CEO Antipodean inc.	Posted - 2007.11.14 12:33:00 - [1] The Antipodes have been around the block a couple of times in our short time in this game. Had a lot of fun with a heap of different people, and overall it has been an absolute blast. But for now we are taking a much needed rest from 0.0 and its demands. Props to Zenith Affinity, Sparta Alliance and Invictus for having the cahooonas to take us aboard. Our first order of business will be a full standings reset, if you wish to keep positive standings contact us. Second is to war dec the largest AUS & NZ Entity in EVE Southern Cross Alliance. We started as abit of fun for a few members from ANP, we formed a new corp with one rule, fight, smack, have fun. Our target was to be the largest target in our timezone (SCA). We managed to have alot of good fights regardless of being completly outnumbered and outguned in most engagments. I must admit tho, this was a chance for some of the "younger" members to release some well deserved smack, and smack they did, to a level I have never seen before, tho it was funny as all hell. But if anyone found this offensive or rude, then I appoligize on their behalf. The Money Shot Campaign Results 112 kills / 19 losses 2,898,128,706 ISK / 1,254,398,860 ISK 19 / 2 Battlecruiser 12 / 5 Battleship 31 / 2 Capsule 9 / 0 Cruiser 1 / 0 Destroyer 2 / 2 Elite Battlecruiser 3 / 1 Elite Cruiser 11 / 7 Elite Frigate 9 / 0 Frigate 7 / 0 Industrial 1 / 0 Mining Barge 4 / 0 Rookie ship 3 / 0 Shuttle We were then challenged to bring the rest of the corporation in and let the real fight begin. Considering we were about to leave invictus anyway for a new begining free from 0.0 and its constant demands, we thought sure, why not. And it began. Unfortunatly when the playing field started to even, we recieved less and less blobs to attack us. We even had ANZA remove itself from SCA to avoid this conflict, but we continued a private war on them (As they were mostly the only ones to fight) just to get some action. Antipodean inc. Sorry guys, you know how it is, the demands of defending 0.0 space and all the logistics and crap that goes on pretty much left ANZA to fight it out by themselves. In all honesty while ANP was outnumbered, it was far from outgunned, remember you guys are flying T2 cruisers and commandships against the ANZA guys that largely are under 10mil SP. Needless to say, I guess it was a good opportunity for them to harden the ** up as Uncle Chop-Chop would tell them. Props to ANZA for throwing whatever they could muster at ANP. We mined and ratted for 6 months with a few roaming gangs here and there, had one PvP Fleet fight and it imploded the Alliance and a few days later the Alliance folded (talk about no PvP backbone) so we left and went to the Drone Region where we continued to carebear it up. For being an empire Corp and most players new to pvp to include the average age of your characters being 2007 going against a corp (ANP) that the average age was 2006 if not older. Also they claim to all be great pvpers. (Oh im not saying there not just stating there claims) also the fact that only at the most there were 10-15 Anzas taking part in this war at one point the anzac's had a 60% rating and I believe finished up with a 40% rating. Against a larger force and out gunned in almost every engagement and I know I was there heck in 2 days I lost 3 battleships myself lol. And if im not mistaking there were no freighter, industrial or miner kills on the anzac's side every ship they killed was a combat vessel. GREAT JOB and great fun.

I have learned so much in the last few weeks, and im sure so have the rest of my corpies in ANZA. Thanks for the action ANP. Looking forward to future engagements(when i can actually fly t2 ships!)
