Months ago I did a Sansha fortress mission and at the end got an expedition, which we where unable to do becasue of on going wars and the location of the next part. I have also had other hiddened sites which went on to an expedition.
However I have found the Sansha fortress about 5-6 times since then and it has never progressed to an expedition. Are they broken? Or am I not doing something correctly?

I'm not sure what the exact chance is, but it's not unusual to do Unknown sites several times without getting an Expedition. I did get one about two weeks ago, so they should still be working.

i've now had 3 expeditions in empire.. and all 3 were dead ends :(
Use quotes ("") in URL tags or it breaks the layout.-Rauth |

Got one the other day while probing,
Chasing 3 guy around, but at the 2nd position I got message but nothing showed up on expedition.
So Yes, they are still broke.

Actually all the ones which did progress, every one was a dead end. One was to go to 3 sites but after the first one, it didnt progress.

I got one recently that progressed. It said Dead End at the end, and it always will, I think. There's always an end. However, I got an overseer at the end with T2 salvage pieces, so I did get the prize.
At each point in the expedition, from what I've read, you have a chance at going further in the expedition. After 4 or 5 escalations you run into an overseer. So, no, they're not broke, though I haven't tried looking since the last patch. |

Ran a 4 part expedition the other day so not broken
