How do these thinges work, cause when i arrive at those ''locations'' nothing is there, and i doubt someone has since i got it 10 min after the downtime.. So, how, and do they work?
*edit* oops found out they dont work.. in the mission tab forum...

I got a weird one, I can't even understand it lol...
This salvaged data from a destroyed Blood Raider vessel reveals the following coded message:
"Sarasomi al tokune ra'popune. Kente ba'al rapontes al pheton de'skran o malen Sani Sabik. Dorurem tokun o batine sat dori am 8-GE2P V set Luna 2."

I just fly to a location, where a "moonstation" should be.
Since 3 hours i fly straight to that moon (4800 km away) with a flightspeed of 219 m/sec.
The scanner doesnŠt show anything at 1 mil. km except the moon and his planet.
Arround 2500 km to go...
IŠll post a "YEAH" if i find a station

well I have heard from a few peeps that they worked for them but the loot cargo containers were at the edge of the playing grid.
They jetted something and went in 100 km in all directions and eventually found the loot container. It might be the same with the other ship log missions, that the loot containers are spawning in the wrong places, at the edge of the grid where things can not be seen properly.

Well, ppl... i got one yesterday and indeed scanned the moon area the "mission" was suppost to be/end/start... i found a cargo container on the place there, and managed to fly in the proper direction with 5 degree's on my scanner, but i flew for over 45 minutes in that direction, with 450m/s... but never got the container with a range...
I went to bed, will continue my search as i can back from work! :)

It is very clear that we need some response from CCP regarding the Ship Logs. If in fact they don't work yet then people should know about it.
If, on the other hand, only a handful of them are actually supposed to reveal something, then we should also be told.
Noone likes a "wild goose chase" (is that the expression?)
Anyway in Iceland it is: "a vera teymdur ß asnaeyrunum" which literally means to be pulled by the ears like a donkey :-)

I think we deserve an official response about the entire patch:- ship logs, docking, can opening etc. - don't just leave us hanging (and complaining) till the next patch - please tell us what plans there are to put things right!
