I'm new to EVE as they just released a version for the mac's, I thought I would give it a try. I have been playing a week and I am still trying to learn as much about the game as I can. I have played many other Online RPG's and now I'm ready to look for a home.
What should I be looking for in a Corp? Is there a newbie corp that is willing to help me learn how to play the game better? I have been reading some posts and there seem to be alot of requirements to join a Bigger Corp.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most corps would require you to bee off your free trial and actually have an established account. Thats what i would like to have. It also would depend on what corp your looking to join. If you want to be a miner thats the corp you want to look for. if thats what your interested in let me know and we can see what we can do for you. send me an evemail to lintora.

I'm at work, so I can't eve-mail at the moment. I am off my free trial and have a regular account. I'm not sure what I want to do at the moment. Mine or anything else.
what are the benefits of being a miner or any other class?

Mining is pretty much the backbone of Eve. with out miners there would be no ships to buy or anything else for that matter. If you one to play the game casually or even if your a hardcore player then mining is a pretty good field to get into. it can be done almost anywhere in the universe. from mining basic minerals to ice mining and to the more rate types in 0.0 space. if you want to know about mining and how it works let me know.
