I imagine there must be a thread about this out there somewhere, if so could someone link to it for me? My question is about getting the fastest sustainable speed possible. By sustainable, i mean that MWD/AB are OK, but you need to be able to keep them active indefinately with your setup rather than strapping 4 on, activating for one cycle and saying that you get 100+km/sec...
Any approach is great, be it a whole bunch of monster engines on a battleship (best i could do sustained was 1043m/s with a Dominx)or a frigate that's little more than an pod with an engine on it.
My record is 4270.833333 in a Vigil, anyone know of anything faster?

I didn't test myself but i bet you have best chances in a minmatar interceptor using Lif MWD/ABs.

From another thread I think it's 128km/sec in a Silver Magnate - but I could be wrong.

Not sustainable.
For the record, with 1 MWD on I can maintain a constant speed of around 7km/s in my Ares. I'll have to check on that, as I'm about 45 jumps away from my Ares at the moment, but let's what I remember doing.

I seriously doubt this. I have only ever sustained 448,000,000,000 m/s

hmm my max speed is around 5km/s (sustainable) in a tristan but i din't try it longer then 30 min ( 2 named 1 mn mwd's 1 small named battery 3 cap relays )

5.7km/s sustained (forever, stable cap at 62-64%)with a single AB and MWD on my maladiction, 153 km/s over 30 seconds with 3 mwd's
The 5.7km/s is my combat loadout, ie plus shield booster, heat sink and 3 lasers.
Got 5.3km/sec for 1min 17 secs out of my Apoc for a laugh once!!!
