Emagine my excitement over getting a pirate log, only to travel 7 jumps to a .1 system and find nothen but a secure container, that none of the words in the log will open nor will 5000 points of damage destroy the contianer. Sorry what the ____ was the purpoe of adding the logs if not to give players a new ave to explore. Sorry CCP but if this BS keeps up you will lose my two account!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well got an answer from ccp today and they made it clear that the pirate logs are buggy at best. They are working on them and stated that updates would be in the news so we should check there for updates on there progress.

Yep the pirate logs will be ingame soon.
Same as the tech 2 components took time to start being used. Hang on to them. Did notice u could refine them to.

the pirate logs work now or at least the 3 that i have checked out so far although i must say that i didn't find anything worth my time at any of them only cruisers

buying/selling logs is futile and a waste of money
www.eve-db.com has data from all logs in its database.
