Time spend in eve: Curent state: Boring money making <<===||==============>> FUN (PVP)
Well I ment to say that for high SP char witch shoud burn T2 fited BSs is quite big portion of time spend in EVE filled with annihilation of dreadful pirates, conquering tritanium from mighty asteroids or other 'funny' money making activities, to fill hagars with Ships and Gunzz. I'm not saying it's completely bad, nothing should be for free (like in WOW), but EVE is bit hard with its "Sandbox"
Proposed state: Boring money making <<======||===========>> FUN (Pew pew)
What I like to see is move slider more towards PVP, so we can afford more Ships and Guns (more guns more pew pew) for same time spend with money making. I don't know how to do it (it's devs job :) but it could increase number of PVP encounters since people would be a less feared of loosing theirs ships. Of course it should be done very decently to avoid second extreme like SISi of WOW :)

Depends where you are and how you make money.
Somehow Alliances field 200+ ship gangs (many, many of which are cap ships) with pretty regular frequency.
If you are solo mining/ratting for your cash then yeah...will take a bit of grinding.
But I think it is clear, if anything, it is already too easy to make money (and not lose it via insurance) such that some of the worry over losing a ship has gone out of the game.
Go back three years or so when there were no mining barges, no T2 and see what it took to get so much as 1 battleship (literally was 2+ weeks of work). Now you can earn enough for a battleship in a day or two of missioning.

I was 0.0 mission runner, pirate implants and so but recently i have discovered GTC2ISK.
Yea big alliances.. big alliances have ISK printing machines (read BPO), so it's not a problem to field large ammount of ships.

We need fewer reasons to blob I think, and/or make blobs less viable. If you could go out and pew the pew with 200,000 ISK ship and not have to worry about some enourmous blob at every turn, more people might be running around just for kicks in cheap little ships. It happens, but not like it once did.
T1 frigs are great fun, but they don't stand up to the monster very well.

Prices are dropping all over and there are now lots more new and itneresting ways to make isk quickly. Also with the new patch removing from of the randomness from invnetion and boosting some of the tools you will start seeing a possible small drop in t2 prices again which would as always be ncie.
tbh what people need to do now is find a way to lower rig costs since rigs are cool.

I think the problem is that even as you slide to PvP, unless you just roving gank, its more like a job now with how POS's work, blobs, and awful lag.

Yes. PvP is too much like a job. Somewhere the fun went away and didn't come back. :(
Give us an arena to fight in and blow each other up in! Give us the ability to flag to people mutually for fights! It would work! It would be great!
All the solo people who wanted a fight could show up in system X on any given day and get a fight with random person Y. Instead of random persons X and Y traversing through 35 systems for 6 hours looking for a random encounter that ends in getting blown up in a gatecamp...or ends up with nothing happening at all.
The lowsec and 0.0 inhabitants have turned into carebears afraid to lose their ships, so please...ignore their whining about their need to blob and give us an infrastructure to fight other people 1v1. An arena even! =) Gladiator should be a profession in Eve.

I wonder if it would be worth putting together a bracketed fight ladder, would be a lot of work but may be interesting. set sp and/or team brackets and schedule twice weekly event nights (one for each side of the globe).

Yeah this game has a big grind for isk. I hate it how all the fanboys of this game pretend there is no grind just because you don't have to grind for your skills. They say d00de no grind thats w0w n00b!1. In this game you grind just as much as any other MMO. Of course the fanboys will disagree with me and tell me d00de go play w0w.
Those of us without our heads stuck up our asses will agree. The only fun way to make isk in this game is pirating. Everything else is boring.

ccp should add bounties to player ships
after all, all the outer regions from empire are not policed and therefore illegal/chaotic
concord wants all these alliances dead and is willing to pay them to kill each other
the bounty could even be a penalty fee off of the insurance the victim was to collect
after all, insurance was meant to compensate natural disasters/space anomalies...
come on, it can work

more ships are being blown up today than ever before, ccp knows this is related to the deflation of t2 and minerals
while some people will ask for inflation because they're sitting on fat wallets and wish for an advantage over their adversaries, ccp knows better

Right now I'm here: having fun making moneys <<=||===================>> having fun pvping
When I have time to play more actively I'll be here: having fun making moneys <<================||====>> having fun pvping
The economic report shows that overall players have become richer due to T2 equipment and ships dropping considerably in price and new ISK making ways opening up like invention, so the balance for many 1+ year old players should have already shifted a bit to the right. For those players who absolutely hate the grind there is also the option of paying extra cash each month. For every $15 that you pay on top of subscription you can save 6-20 hours of grind per month if you're typically making 30-10 mil ISK per hour.

Lose fewer ships?
Anyway, yeah... If you can't make enough money from PVP, an Industrial Alt is your bestest friend.

Becose I'm not interested in some industrial .... thing. Actually i have an industrial pilot but she was barinwashed and she will be a carryer pilot.

Why should I be forced to have an industrial alt ? No one of all these industrialist decaying in empire are not forced to have an PVP alt to do their bussines. Why should be it vice versa ?

Not really, no.
I can't help myself but UO was best for living from PVP, from each killed oponent was everything you need, so virtually it was nessecary to stay one kill ahed of your deaths. And if something goes really wrong one visit in dungeon fix it all... few bladespirits between dung raiders

Your point?
If you don't like doing some industrial stuff to make money and just want to pvp, buy GTCs and sell them. You can also suicide gank for ISKies too. If you like to whine and moan about the game, you might as well go back to WoW where money doesn't matter and you can pvp to your heart's content.

Ok, now we take it one step further, as you cannot ride or fit a stack of tritanium. Someone will have to build you that ship. Let us return to this miner because he just happens to have 20 Armageddon bpos so he will gladly build it for you. Well then we have established that he actually used his minerals to build ships.
Its rather simple really, youre sucky pvp funds our gtc and then some. Because no matter how good people are at pvp. Someone have to loose, thats the whole point of it. and when they loose industrialists sell them new ships. Profit

Hmmm well you are possibly right. Sorry, was somewhat out of boundaries there. Point is, most people have a pvp and a industry char. Atleast most people I know. And why would it be unfair that industrialists make more isk? Why not adapt? You had the choice when you made a character. You also have a option wich is to adapt, do some suicide ganking or pvp with what you can afford to loose.

As in real life, everything in eve is profitable. The amount of money you make in your profession is dependent on how GOOD YOU ARE AT IT. Nothing to do with the profession itself.
Most would assume that hunting farmers is an isk sink, but in the last few months, I've probably gained and lost an average of a billion or so isk on both characters. Also- there was this Thanatos I managed to misplace. It wasn't full of fighters or anything, but it's still a carrier...
