What do you think of this setup for clearing hacking sites in 0.0? -
High 250mm Light Artillery Cannon II 250mm Light Artillery Cannon II 250mm Light Artillery Cannon II Anything that will fit - Salvager I / Auto Targeting I ?
Middle Gistii A-Type 1MN MicroWarpdrive Small Shield Extender II Codebreaker I Small Shield Booster II
Low Domination Overdrive Injector Domination Overdrive Injector Republic Fleet Nanofiber Structure
Rigs Polycarbon Engine Housing I Polycarbon Engine Housing I
The advantage of this setup is that it should survive bubble camps, and it's fun to pilot due to its agility and speed.
Of course, the best Minmatar ship for hacking is probably a rapier because it can cloak to avoid bubble camps, but I don't yet have the skills for this!
What's your opinion?

Looks solid enough. If you are worried a bit can always drop to autos and a LSE t2.

Yes, that's a good idea. My initial thought was that Artys play to the Jaguar's 10% range bonus per assault ship skill level. However, tanking is more important in PvE, and a LSE would be great.

I can only fit SSEs on a Jaguar using Eve Fitting Tool, even when using ACs.

Horrid set up...
hi- 150ACs, CLOAK mids - T1 named MWD, MSE II, and Amp for primary damage of the rats. Lows - SPR II x 2, OD
If you hit bubble, pulse MWD and cloak.... --------------- This sig has been censored in fear of recieving the ban hammer... |

Lack of solid damage output for ratting compared to autocannons.

The Gistii A-Type MWD costs 110+M. Using a T2-fit battleship is bloody well cheaper. Also, did you just try to combine active and passive tank? I'd sooner use a MSE II for a tank (or just the SB II and a DC II and hulltank like a real man), but I doubt it works in a artillery fit.

This is so expensive that I, in fact, have no idea how much it costs, because I've never even thought about buying it. PLUS, the nano is going to get stack nerfed with polycarbons, AND you will still be somewhat less agile then the Rifter, so I'd sooner just put a T2 istab in.

(a) You will still weight more then a Rifter even with two polycarbons (b) Two polycarbons cost about 90M. Are you REALLY sure you want to make this a 300M+ ship?

Agility is still sub-par to a Rifter w/out fittings. Speed is still under the speed you'd expect out of a base T2 interceptor, agility is way worse then that.

Use a shuttle alt and a BS, barring that, use a interceptor. If you don't have the skills for a interceptor (Evasive Maneuver V), you can't even fly the Rifter properly, not to mention a AF. Not to mention a 300M AF...

I dont get the idea. Hacking on 0.0 = scanning, then hacking. When you scan, you'll need CovOp. But ok, you can scan with Jaguar too, I dont mind.
If your setup is purely for passing bubblecamps, then its just outrageously expensive. Astronomically. It wont payback through Hacking in months, I suppose.
If it is going to be used for hacking too (judging from fitted codebreaker) then its just plain horrible! You have insignificant tank, no damage, no speed (MWD doesnt work in deadspace, no?) so why on earth would you use it at all?
Point is, you wont be able to tank/kill rats in hacking sites with it. All you will do is avoid bubblecamps, and even that you wont do well because you have no cloak and have not so good agility/speed. So dont use it!
You'd need 2 setups of Jaguar for the task. One for travel, another for hacking. First - fastest, agilest, cloaked setup. Second - tanked to the top (MSE+SPRs) + AB + codebreaker/analyzer/salvager.
Ideally - have 2 chars or a friend. A CovOp + AF or HAC should do that great. One scans and hacks, the other takes the aggro.
