For some reason my Overview is missing, the collapse/expand button works but when I press expand it stays the same. Usually it is possible to enlarge the Overview by draging on the border but this doesnt seem to be possible at the moment.
I've had this problem for 2 days and it's really getting annoying, if anyone knows how to fix this please help. (so far tried clearing chache and reinstalling the game but it didnt help)

Try using the "reset windows to default" option. Here's how:
1. After logging into the game, press "Esc" to bring up your in-game options menu.
2. Select the "Reset Settings" tab.
3. Press "Reset", beside "Reset to default window positions".
4. Press "Close Window" at the bottom of the page.

I have exactly the same problem, i've relogged, cleared the cache, restarted my pc nothong seems to fix it

You need to delete the "proper" settings file for your problem to go away.
It's a .dat file that is stored in your c:\Documents and settings........... folder and not in your Eve folder.
There are 2 types of .dat files there, can never remember which one stores the overview settings.
You will know that you deleted the correct file if your screenresolution etc options have been reset, if not you're doing something wrong.

This worked for me:
Hi.
I'd like you to go to the settings folder, (should be in one of the following locations:
Windows 2000/XP: C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE
Windows Vista: C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE
In the settings folder there will be a couple of files I need you to delete char_349147903.dat and user_1428017.dat
This will probably also reset a lot of character based settings, but its a complete UI reset.
