Now i know nothing about amarr ships. but i dont know that you CAN rat in an assault frigate in 0.0. and against turret serps it would be easy enough to tank them. Just kill the frigs n stuff 1st and then fly close and orbit and the bigger ships will miss most of the time.
But killing the bigger spawns could be a problem

tried to rat in 0.0 with a inty, tanking wasnt a problem, but 4x tech II standards couldn't take the big spawns. could take everything in 0.1 with standards and rockets.
so unless you have much better damage than missiles/Rockets i dont think you can.

You can, but it will be slow going on the BSes you can handle, and it won't happen on the other BSes. Handy for doing it in hostile systems though. :)

better of to just train to fly an ishkur, drones help a lot in ratting serps.
wolfs do well also.

a retribution can rat in 0.0 no problem it may not b the fastest way to do it but i ratted with one in syndicate for a long time and was no spawn i couldnt kill with it

The Vengeance would probably be a better choice because of damage type selection-remember that Serps resist EM fairly well. And as mentioned, you're going to have a slow, tough time about breaking the tank of many battleships, indeed, some battleships may be beyond you.

Of course you can! I've ratted in 0.0 with my lowly tech 2 fitted punisher several times successfully. It's VERY slow going, but fun!
Once I had a bit of an audiance while i took down 2 800K+ BS and a Cruiser.
Just stay fast in a tight orbit and you'll be fine.

The Retri is great in 0.0 for ratting, will take longer than ratting with bigger ships of course, but the DPS is impressive considering it is a frigate.
