:)
This is my solution also , but how you make people not to go to Jita ? One solution is just say "Don't go to Jita" but looks like no body listens. So maybe it's not enough ?

When people say "Don't go to Jita", they mean YOU. So you'll stop whining about it.

Hint: raising the lag to get people out will *not* work. The usual suspects (like me) will still be there, at the canyon's feet

At present Jita has an automatic cap to overcrowding. Too much lag, people go away or get black screened.
The appropriate solution to overcrowding is not a fixed rule change but a negative feedback system.
An excellent example of this is the rent paid by Corporations for Offices: No Offices available, rent increases each month. 1 or 2 Offices available (IIRC), no change in rent. More than 2 Offices available, decrease in rent.
The result is that rents stabilize everywhere to the price Corps are prepared to pay.
Such a system for overcrowding due to Trading might be an increase in local Sales Tax based on lag. For overcrowding due to Missions it could be a decrease in Rewards. The important thing is that it has to be an automatic, self adjusting system that requires no Dev time aside from global tweaking.

Edited by: Argenton Sayvers on 20/11/2007 19:42:04 Here is a Jita fix that will take about 2000 manyears, and $200m to implement, causing earthquakes, global warming and at least 2 unhappy kittens. But sometimes the cure has to hurt to be effective:
1. Create additional Gates to form an effective Jita bypass so that the shortest route from A to B (where A, B =/ Jita) never goes through Jita.
2. Make sure that autopilot optimisation actually understands 1.
Example: If there is a Gate from A to Jita, and from Jita to B, then create a new Gate from A to B...

There is a route around jita going N - S but the autopilot doesn't use it.
