Stardate 11.10.07
First log of the SS Bountychaser. Here aboard my new little frigate, the universe looks so big to me. Thousands of worlds, all ready to deal death to me. Well, I plan to reverse some of that. ItÆs my first day working for the Caldari Navy. My mission is to protect the NavyÆs interests wherever and whenever they see fit, in return for healthy bounties to collect. Privateering for the Caldari Navy- profitable and exciting, IÆm looking forward to my first action.
Stardate 11.15.07
Been running missions now for a few days and IÆve upgraded my gunboat to make it a little tougher and managed to sock away a few million ISK for the future. Lots of action and work to be done for me it seems. My bank account could use it.
Stardate 11.18.07
Patrolling the asteroid belts when a miner complains to me about can pirates stealing loot. Told him I would see what I could do. Took out a few Guristas, left the cargo floating when sure enough a small privateer Merlin warps in, and targets me. I donÆt do anything , just keep my hands on the trigger and see what happens. Sure enough, he heads right for the can I left in the Gurista wreck. I warn him off but he sucks it dry and goes to warp. IÆm a little smarter than he is- I figure he is warping around in and out to all the belts in this sector so I warp into another one further into the sector and lie in wait. He warps in- just in time to feel two Sabretooth missiles tear him apart. My first PVP! The computer reads ôYour missile is unable to fire since the target has explodedö. A good day.

Wait, did you actually kill someone or did you change the ending for dramatic effect? Because something seems wrong about it.

The second round of missiles did not fire because the target had already been destroyed.

Apprently- prolly just a throwaway suicider without any gear. Saw his wreck about half a click out.

Time to move up in the world! The Caldari Navy has honored me with a new Destroyer- which I named the Bountychaser 2. What a fine ship!- 8 rail guns sure can lay out the damage. Got lucky today...looted a 3 million ISK web statis prototype off one of those Guristas I claimed a bounty on. Goes for more in some locales- I'll hang onto it for now. Commander Dren Makavi of the Caldari Navy told me I should start thinking about where I would like to go with my career. Covert ops and patrol from relative safety or go for some more firepower in the form of an Assualt Frigate. He sees big things for me running a large ship, but I told him I'm more the hit and run bountyhunter- so Im leaning toward that Hawk Assualt Frigate in the showroom.
Some troubles with a pirate today. Scanned and targeted me but then fled off. Have to watch my back now, as I start collecting bounties. Pirates aren't going to love me very much as I get more well known.
On a side note: business has been good. My wallet is quite fat now for a new BH- over 10 million ISK! My insurance guy loves me too, as no claims so far on that platinum policy he sold me.

Nice post but it would be better received in the Role Play section. I know it's ironic given that this is a MMO 'Role Play' G but these nubs whouldnt know RP if they arrived home and their MRS was dressed in a schoolgirls outfit asking for some extra homework

The ships gunners are getting better with the new upgrade to our Moa. Yesterday was able to pick off some pirate drones inside of 5k before my own drones got to them. They deserve a raise those guys.
Stardate 11.27.07
Salvage money keeps rolling in and I keep thinking I might need to go to bigger and bigger ships despite my desire to stay fast and light. Maybe I'll keep that Hawk on hold - the Navy wants me in some heavy duty firepower for some of the frontier regions. The guys in the wardroom tell me the Raven is all that and more, at least the Navy's version, but I'm old school- if I get big I want some protection and the Rokh looks better to me for that.
:shrug: Or I could just learn how to fly a Minmatar.

You should fly to Aunenen I hear they have a lot of people with bounties there.
They're all in the first belt, just wait at 0m and they'll come by.
