My character Bhaal was in The Black Widows when they were in CA, and then moved to Keiretsu alliance, then BW merged with M-Corp and we belonged to The 5, then Lotka Voltera.
Then I quit playing after LV collapsed when Goonies brought like 1000 pilots to JV-1V. That lagfest permanently ruined EVE for meā

I consider myself old school CA, was with Shinra. We fought Stain Empire, flew with Chowdown, Lallante, Hyperbaton, Guderian etc. all the old school players, some of them are still playing but low profil I guess. Remember podding TRIGGER (SE's Leader) in one of my glorious moments.
This was when we had Cavalary Ravens, Dual MWD ravens going really fast and popping torps at everything and Interceptors had just come out so I specialized in those... fantastic days - when men was men and 0.0 had a feel of real deep space to it. No BoB, and this was when the Russians was known as the Crazy (cool) Russians.

May 2003. I've taken three breaks from the game during that time, only the first one voluntarily - hit a low point after leaving a nice corp, clueless about what to do next. The other two were RL issues; ended up skint (hey, I was a student) and later suffered from a nasty case of bandwidth deprivation (after I left the Uni). Now that my life's sorted I can't see myself quitting again... ever. They can take my account and my original char from my cold dead hands, and even then I intend to put up a fight.

6/03. Original account is retired on a beach on Matarr. (That was back in the days of the NVA just after the VA/ Ragnor's Hat crazyness was finished.
(I had a r/l induced interuption and was playing around with skills on this toon and realized...holy crap at 1/4 the skills, he's better than the old guy....so stuck with James when I could resume longer EVE sessions.)
(Would have been May/03 for me as well, but a bad accident earlier in the year had me laid up, so no games until sitting comfortably was possible.)
What a world we play in. Still not tired of it, or bored, and doubt I ever will be.

Feb 04 here. I was stain alliance with setenta from march 04, heh, the fun i had my first trip down to stain/paragon soul in my iccle merlin solo....ahh the nailbiting fun that that was.

May 2003 here, although I've only played about half of that and skilled about 3/4 
Was in CA briefly, until a character in CA in a smart bombing Apoc (was it?) nuked a whole load of competitors in the second alliance ship race and it looked like CA and Caldari state were going to go to war. OOC I thought it was funny as f**k, but IC I was a Caldari nationalist, so I got me coat.

Dunno if I'm oldskool I'd have said 03' players were, started playing Feb 04' , moved south after a few months to live in Querious and fought the old CA for a little bit and was around for the beginning of QDF/FIX and following wars .
Not moved on cos' I still have so much fun in this game and I not really heard about anything thats sounds just as good , although I don't get much time these days ( think I'm beating the addiction)

There are barely any Amarr left that I knew. Mostly I wait for factional warfare, when I intend to recruit a number and begin actively again.
I dream of owning vast slave plantations, be it on a central world or somewhere far off. Until then I pop in from time to time to survey the state of things. It seems that the community has disintegrated, with all the new.
Old friends I miss. Old conversations lasting hours, laughing. The forgotten Derelik alliance. The kestrel raids. Crielere. Times gone by.

I'd say I was fairly old, this char was made back in July 03 (I think), had a period where I couldn't play much, but I still made sure I logged on to change skill, but that was during the transition from student to employee.

april 04 here (if i remember correctly) and still going strong :p
had a lot of fun fighting CA back while in XF, especially when the ghostfleet whent down and payed a visit to omist, the campain The Corporation had in cache/wicked creek and when xf took a third of the CA stations right before ccp gave stations 5 times the amount of shield hitpoints (so they had roughly the same amount as pos')
and ofc, the everyday bloodbath in u-q and catch :/
beside that, eve was more fun back then, at least my opinon..
