For me its not so much as a single worst name as a class of names...
Jake2002 AOL names are pretty bad, but probably not as bad as anyone with Darth in their name...
Or even worse how about the 5000 Maud Dibs that are running around? Originality goes out the window for names doesnt it? 
What are your opinions on what makes a really bad name?

man, I have seen at least 10 different spellings. One of them I know and is pretty cool. Come on guys, get org. names Well, I kind of like HotGirl567 my self

My own name is pretty high on the list, but it's definately not the worst. 
I agree with the muad's though, a bit annoying... There's like 50 of them!
(And I missed 7M from the avatar competition because of 2 of them ).

Kinda hard to beat "EvePlayer24601" as a lousy name, but then that's their own fault.
Anybody who names themselves "Lord" anything before they even started playing the game, deserves the Golden Raspberry in my book. Titles have to be earnt, you shouldn't just decide to have one when you start out.

1010101101 and then had another person with the exact same name except one 1 was a 0. to top it off their corp name and description was in binary aswell.

I dunno, why try so hard, whats wrong with Jim Brown and James stewart or depending orn your nationality, Paco Raban or Pierre St Claire? makes it a hell of alot easier to find these people....

Anything with numbers in it...
Anything starting with Lord, Lady, Emperor or other self acclaimed titles...
Got some more annoyances, but I'll stick with these two main ones.

I really hate "kunggggg" (i think it was 5 g's, not entirely sure). It sucks. Also, that "Che Guevara"-character should be told the meaning of the term "RPG" and "this-is-thousands-of-years-after-EVE-being-severed-from-Earth-with-cataclysmic-events-in-between."
If I was CCP I'd ban people for such names. Or forcibly change the names.
Perhaps an anti-bad-charachter-name squad should be formed, hunting down and podding those that disturb my sense of aesthetics...

in the right places ' can be ok. i think mines effective and sounds quite space faring.
i have to agree that people with names like jim683468 and stuff are pretty unimaginative. from what i have seen most people actualy play eve in character toa certain degree. making bios and histories for themselves. i think there are some people who just didnt think when they came to make a name lol.

Naming a character can usually be hard. And since you want to play as fast as you can, sometimes people choose bad names. That's a bit sad because they end up regretting it.
I remember making an online name, I used loads of name generators, then I took a few I liked and put them together. Then I changed a bit and eventually I got a name I liked. Took almost an hour though.

I think it would be a good idea if ccp would have a name generator in character creation. That way you don't end up with a name of a character in an online comic 
Oh and I don't like those who have names that have anything to do with startrek, Startrek is boring
