Well, there aren't that many Ravens or Drakes (or missile ships in general) in fleet battles, but as far as skills go, you'll want: -Excellent cap skills (Energy Management and Energy Systems Operation 4, ideally 5) -Shield Emission Systems 4, ideally 5 -Energy Emission Systems 4, ideally 5 -Excellent shield tanking skills (Shield Operation, Shield Management, Tactical Shield Manipulation) (you're a support ship, therefore the hostiles will want to take you down first if they're smarter than monkeys, so you better be prepared) -The prerequisites to fly any ship you choose to fly for your purposes. The Osprey and its T2 counterpart, the Basilisk, get bonuses to shield and cap transfer modules, so they're something to look into. Or you could get in something like a Rokh, fill your high slots with shield and cap transfers, fit a nice shield tank in your meds, fit for a high cap recharge rate, and go from there. Pros of the Basilisk: can support from a lot further out (70+ km), faster than a Rokh, harder to hit Cons of the Basilisk: it's only a cruiser, it'll die fast
Pros of the Rokh: big and tough, it's a battleship with a tanking bonus Cons of the Rokh: can't support from very far (like 10km or so, give or take), big and lumbering --- High quality pics of most EVE ships! |

One option would be to get a Basilisk logistics ship. 4 large shield transfers 2 large cap transfers 1 AB/MWD (i prefer AB because it doesnt mess with the cap) rest cap modules for solo support or tank/ECCM for multi support
Skills: Logistics 4-5 Shield Emission Systems 4-5 Energy Emission Systems 4-5 Cap skills to the max
Try to get a mate to fit a basilisk or guardian with at least one cap transfer and "link up" with him. 2 basilisk supporting each other with 1-2 cap transfers can perma run all of their shield transfers and have enough cap for running a tank on their own.

as someone in another thread said, the Cerberus is an ASS (anti-support support). Its great for popping support vessels (i have a 170km heavy missile range). Basilisks are also great ships because if you have 2-3 of them, the primaried ship's tank will be god-like.

This is EWAR! The eve overlords have given you the Blackbird, the Scorpion, and the Rook/Falcon. Use them wisely.
