>Unfortunately our timing was off and our instincts told us to remain cautiously vigilant. After serious consideration, the choice was made to re-evaluate the project and place EVE TV on a temporary break until February. - http://myeve.eve-online.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=524

Imagine that, something with no revenue stream cannot exist forever.
You asked for free, you got it, now you got nothing.
You get what you pay for is the lesson. -

err it has a revenue... they get paid for ads, which most likely gets them more money now than it used to. Official fanboy of jenny< pink supporter! looking to work in the art department with CCP, 3 years and counting. http://www.digipen.edu/main/Gallery_Games_2004#Narbacular_Dropthi |

I believe that most of the ad supported content, was indeed, not ad supported. I know for one, once it went free I managed to get 1-2 ads and ive watched every episode since they became free. That and the only ads that did seem to show were Intel ones, which tells me that the market werent interested in spending money on adverts to such a nichT audience...

maby they would have had a larger audience if it wasnt all about PVP and tournaments (and some on the expansion) its like interviews with nothing but wrestlers or football players.
maby they could have a "how to" segment similar to their ship section
over all I love the Idea of eve-tv and the anchors were great. I dont want to see EVE-tv go away
I dont know if something like this would be the answer but you could put a check box in the subscription area for people to add an extra doller when they resubscribe? EVE PVP is out of control and is hurting EVE and CCP |
