There seems to be quite a bit of interest in the lottery ticket option both here & over on SHC. I'd be interested to know which would be the most popular, tickets at 500 mill each (200 in total), 250 mill each (500 in total) or 100 mill each (1000 in total) ? Maybe even an exclusive club of 100 Golden tickets at a bill each !!
Would we really see 1000 people hand over 100 mill for a ticket despite how sexeh, unique or valued this ship is ?

I would rather see more expensive tickets with less people involved. Perhaps 1 bil or 2 bil per ticket? Hopefully it will weed out most of the casual people and only leave those who can truly appreciate this ship and understand how rare and valuable it is :)

I second this. I've only been playing for about 2 months and I could sc*****together the isk for a 250mil ticket, probably even a 500mil without too much trouble. As much as I'd like the bragging rights it seems like a sacrilege that someone so new can end up with a ship like that. I'd say 2-3bil per ticket so only serious players bid. That way you don't have some noobie like me win it who might just stop playing in the next month or so.

Just want to state that if there was a lottery, the chances are I would but 1, 2 or maybe even more tickets.
I also just want to state, that if I were to win, I would fly it in 0.0 and PvP with it, cuz I want to lose a more expensive ship than what Tyraxx has!

I'll discuss this tomorrow with the other interested parties but as far as I am aware we've not had any sensible offers so we'll probably go with the lottery suggestion. No idea how much the tickets will be selling for at the moment. Personally I'd love a quick conclusion to this, 10 golden tickets, 10 bill each , ok maybe not but we'll see.

I know this is a very expensive piece of kit but I thought there would be someone who appreciated it for what it is & made a serious offer, so far, nothing. Looks like it may well get locked away in a hangar for another 12 months unless there's some serious interest.

Why lock it away? The lottery idea sounds very promising. Even if you're selling 50 tickets for 2 bil each, I would wager you would sell out within a couple days and end up with the 100 bil you wanted.
Any reason you decided not to go with a lottery? Your previous post seemed to indicate you were seriously considering it.

Even at 90B, even tho its an unique ship I doubt anyone would want one for such price...
I might be wrong, but as you said yourself no serious offers were made.
Anyway I'd like to see a lottery, would buy few tickets myself

Would you buy a ticket at 2bill each ? How many would ? 1-49, uk lottery results from a given date. This is just a query to ascertain if the other interested parties would go down this route, I'm sure if we get enough replies to indicate people would buy then it'll go ahead.

I believe you would have a lot more interest with a lottery, than you would as just a WTS. Very few individuals in game can even afford 100b, let alone want to spend it on one ship.
Just put a stipulation in the lottery, that if you don't get x amount of tickets sold then lottery is void, and you'll return all isk. Would help if you used Chribba to 'hold' the isk as well, until ship is exchanged or isk refunded.
I know I would fork out for 1-2 tickets at 2b each for a chance to own one of the rarest ships in eve. Would definitely recommend the UK lottery, with a pre-selected date that is at least 1-3 weeks in advance.
Just my .02 iskies.

How about buying 5 tickets for 1 billion isk then the odds of winning are 5 in 500 (1 in a 100).

This is going back a few years to school ... but as I recall a 1/100 chance is better than a 5 x 1/500 chance. Since the tickets are mutually exclusive you stand a better probability of winning in the 1/100 setup.
(again this was a while ago that I took probability but I believe that is the case)

having lots of isk doesn't mean you can see the true value of the ship. Nor does being "poor" make you less of a pilot.

A lottery will be good at 1b isk per ticket.
But also there should be some condition's.Like, if only 80 tickets sold ship will be looted.If obly 50 tickets sold at 1b isk :) ship will not be selled but owner of ship will keep :D 100m isk from every ticket cos of stessing totterying it :).
He might be afraid of non selling tickets.So ifu guys ask for a lottery u might lose 100m isk from the bill u sended to him if the reserve number of tickets will not be riched.
