So, what, do you really believe smokers have no idea smoking is bad for them ?
Do you honestly think somebody would give up smoking because they suddendly start to fear the side-effects ?
Then you have no clue about smokers and reasons they smoke.
So, wow, the videos show that cigaretes leave residue.
Reality check, WE KNOW.
But we simply don't care.

I think smoking's disgusting and I wouldn't try it. IMO, there's enough stuff that will kill you in life, if you want to live a long time you probably shouldn't add stuff to that list willingly.
Plus, cancer is a nasty way to go.
Say no to knee-jerk additions and nerfs, mmkay? |

you could choke on a porkchop, get run over on your way to the gym or just drop dead for no reason whatsoever. why deny yourself small pleasures?
besides, smoking only takes years off the end of your life, and they're **** anyway.

Another cigarette will "fix" it but not the best way.
Just saying. I reserve everyone's right to engage in stupid and unhealthy behaviour if they so desire.

4 years tobacco free.
Let me just say that if somebody offered me a cigarette right now, I'd stick it in my mouth and light it.
The NicoDemon never quits.
Its not just a chemical addiction.
Ppl don't understand this but smoking is actually very pleasurable. The taste of burning tobacco, it's sublime.
Why do some people drink non-alcoholic beer?
Because even without alcohol, ppl still love the way beer tastes.
Same with cigarettes.
If you never smoked - DON'T START.
If you don't know how great it feels, you won't miss it.
If you smoke - Well, its your personal decision.
Pro-Smoking - Decreases appetite, increases metabolism, have more fun in life.
Anti-Smoking - You lose about 20 years towards the end of your life. Which sounds okay when you're young, but when you're middle-age it will sound like a death sentence. Also cancer is a HORRIBLE way to go. You will beg to be shot but the doctors will keep you alive because Dr Kevorkian is in prison.
So its a tradeoff.
Everybody has to make their own choice.
My choice was to quit. I'll tell you right now it wasn't a unanimous decision among all my braincells, the vote was heavily contested by the pleasure side of my brain, but the common sense side of my brain won the vote.

These emotional topics are my favorite. Dont you over estimate your self by speaking in the form of WE "but we simply don't care" since when do you represent the views of others? Those videos are strong. I dont care wheter you make reality checks or not. I still post stuff I feel benefits some one. Wheter you whine or throw phareses of denial or what ever.

Glarion - we all know smoking is bad for us. But just because something is unhealthy doesn't mean people won't do it. Nicotine feels great. The act of smoking itself is fun. I don't smoke cigarettes because I don't like how they smell. I'll still smoke hookah with friends, that's just as bad for me but I do it. I'm a smart kid, but every once in a while I'd rather have a good time now and pay for it later. Being a chain smoker is just an unhealthier extension of that. The knowledge is already out there, it says it on every cigarette pack nowadays.
however - silly tests, truth.com, and opinionmongering doesnt influence smokers. Same way abovetheinfluence doesnt influence ********* smokers - it's a complete lack of understanding of your target audience. Give smokers something that fulfills whatever need they are filling by smoking, and theyll stop smoking. Turns out that's not stopping.

Actually, the last time I tried to start smoking again I found they tasted foul. I was really disappointed because I definitely remember them tasting much nicer than that.

You are obviously not only a non-smoker at the moment, but an ANTI-smoker who probably never even smoked a single cigarette in his entire life.
What gives YOU the right to believe I am *not* speaking for most smokers when I said what I just said ?
So... what gives me the right to speak for smokers everywhere ?
The fact those people DO smoke, in spite of all the publicity about how bad smoking is and so on and so forth.
Yes, WE smokers, *know* it's bad for us, yet we still do it because we like it even if we are fully aware of the consequences.
At this current moment in space and time, WE simply do not care enough about any of the side-effects to quit.
If you quit smoking is because you either already have a serious smoking-related health problem, or your responsabilities have changed not allowing you to continue taking risks to your health by smoking.
Bottom line, you only quit smoking when you really WANT to quit smoking.

There is no pro to smoking, short of those that you manufacture to make yourselves feel better. As far as I'm concerned, your doctor should perform a bloodtest everytime you go in for medical treatment, if there is a trace of any nicotine, ******e, *****, coke, etc, etc, your medical insurance should be voided.
If you can find the money to poison yourself, you can find the money to pay for your own (above and beyond that of a normal, strong willed person) medical problems.

I sometimes smoke cigarillos when at private parties and such.
I don't see it being much different from drinking really.
Can't stand the smell of smoking every day though.
