Been using an AMD64 3500 with 1gb kingston ddr400 ram and a geforce 7900gs 512mb.
Eve has been running fine apart from the usual lag but since installing an extra 1gb, it has been running smoother.
Also, how would my setup cope with the new Eve graphics coming out ? -----------------------------------------------

Min spec for eve is 512 however the more you have the more eve will have access to as your system also nooeds RAM for various things.
Also a good tip is to goto you pref.ini file as eve is set to use something like 100(cant remember atm and im at work), but if you goto your pref.ini file you can change it, it was recomended to me along time ago to set this to at least half your RAM (it wont allways use this) so set it to use 1024 instead this will help. since it doesn't utilize almost any part of your graphics-card to render things on the screen, it's all handled by the CPU... not to mention that there is a lot of data to juggle at the same time...
I imagine the advent of Trinity will actually make the game run smoother, as well as look better. when all the graphics-elements and the UI gets handled by the graphics-card instead of the CPU.

Q: How much RAM does EVE actually use?
A: However much it manages to ransom from the OS!

Unused RAM is used for caching by the OS. That might be the reason for Eve going smoother. ___ CCP Garthagk: "And that is why GMs aren't DEVs"

Cool, I didn't buy it for Eve by the way incase anyone was thinking that. Been using 1gb for a few years now and never bothered, with games these days it is needed. -----------------------------------------------
