Hi,
Thank you for the excellent program.
There is a funcionality that used to work before the update and now it doesnt.
In the asset window, when i used to filter by group to find blueprints... the results would be the blueprints in my assets + the blueprints in jobs, giving me the total blueprints in that group. So i could clearly see the total number of blueprints used/unused in the same tab.
Now when I set the filter it will only show me the blueprints in my assets and not the ones in current jobs.
It was nice to have the results combined as opposed to having 2 tabs open (1 for jobs and 1 for assets).
Could you please restore this funcionality? |

@Laraxie That functionality have not been removed. But, it have been changed because of the new Industry Jobs API. Now all blueprints in production are added as BPC (Blueprint Copies), because it's no longer possible to detect if they are BPO or BPC via the API. It's not an optimal solution, but, It's the best possible solution CCP allow, with the new API.

Thanks for responding.
What you are saying works when I filter by name. ie, filter by name contains "dominix blueprint", i am able to see both the dominix blueprints in my assets and the ones in jobs.
But now lets say i want to see all the battleship blueprints idle or in job.... so i filter by group contains "battleship blueprint", i am ONLY able to see battleship blueprints in my assets.
If ccp has made both bpc and bpo "the same" in API... they shoudl still be in the same marketgroup, so why when i search by marketgroup it doesnt work? |

@Laraxie Yes, that API would work, provided it also returns blueprints in industry jobs (which I presume it does). Yet another API to implement. Added to my ToDo list.
Thank you for your feedback and doing the research for me :) Download is the meaning of life, upload is the meaning of intelligent life http://eve.nikr.net - home of jEveAssets |

Hello. Golden Gnu, thank you very much for this awesome tool.
I have a question concerning Contracts tool and value of contracts in Assets. In current implementation if a blueprint is in contract jEveAssets can not tell between BPO and BPC. Thus the value of the contract is automatically set to 0 (the standard value of BPCs) in the Asset tool. Is this technical issue of the API? Is it planned to add function of distinguishing between BPO and BPC and ME/TE values after introduction of new API functions? Cheers

@BooomBox The contracts API does have a way of detecting the difference between BPO and BPC. I do not know if it's a jEveAssets bug or a bug API. I will look into it soon(tm).

I really enjoy the program a lot , just have 1 question:
In the Stockpile tool there are some columns that don't seem to update like Buy/sell Orders and Buy/sell transactions and Industry jobs. Is it currently unavailable or am I doing something wrong ?
I usually lose track , between the 6h asset updates, of what I have already purchased to fill up my preferred stock level and those columns seem to be the solution if they would be updated or editable.

I was wondering if it would be hard to implement another import option in the stockpile window ? In the Eve Online industry window you can right click on one of the arrows next to a BPC/BPO and choose 'copy material information', which lists the material in your clipboard similar to the way the IPH import option does which is already present in jEveAssets right now but with different formatting.

Got a question about how item min/max purchase values are calculated, I get the impression there done from 'all time purchases' instead of 'per item'. I have this line on one of my assets: Group ...................| Name ................................................. | No| Max Purchase|Min Purchase|Last Purchase Capacitor Booster | Med Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I |. 1 |....... 65,137.27 |.... 60,000.00|65,137.27 |

@Barretaki Breau Max/Min/Last Purchase is calculated from your own buy order for each item type. Max is the maximum price you have paid for that item type. Min is the minimum price you have paid for that item type. Last is the price of the newest order for that item type.
I hope that explain it well enough, if not, just reply and I will answer the best I can :)
EDIT: Once the orders is gone from the API (and jEveAssets), they will not be part of the calculation anymore...

Awesome program! I seem to have an issue with it, however, where it's showing me things I don't have anymore. For example:
915Data SheetsNoneGeneralCommodityNet-7 News***REDACTED***DomainNoneCorpMarket194.98170.13182.56167,037.830.000.000.000.000.001500.00-182.560%1,0490Tech I1915.00182.56Packaged2014-02-16 12:5510137417642423812
This seems like something we may once have had, but we don't have any corp market orders at all, nor any assets left in that particular system. Is there a way to force it to only show things that were pulled as of the last successful update for that char/corp without deleting my whole data / history? |

Found some more stuck stuff. I just updated (successfully) all my characters through API. However Assets is showing me a bunch of Mega Pulse Laser IIs in a Contract > Sell. This is a contract that I made about 10 days ago. It has long since been accepted by another one of my characters, and the ship that has those guns moved off to somewhere else.
They do show properly in the new location, as equipped on HiSlot0-7, but there's also ghost copies of them in the old system. |

@Marraika Kalir Sorry for the delayed reply. Sound like it included contracts that are already completed, I will look into it as soon as I have time.
Thank you for your bug report :)
@Luko Melis Again; Sorry for the delayed reply. You need to use jmemory.jar to run jEveAssets every time. It simply starts jEveAssets with a larger "head size" (or in English: Access to more memory). If you're running out of memory when you're use jmemory.jar, I'm pretty sure it must be a jEveAssets bug, as it starts it with access to 4 gigabytes of RAM. jEveAssets should never use that much RAM, under normal use. Maybe, if you add 20+ accounts, you could get close.
If you have time, please, email me the logs (see the readme)
Thank you for your bug report :)

@Luko Melis That sure is bad... You should be able to run it the same way, you run jEveAssets. If you already tried that, then we need to debug it.
I assume you're on windows?
If you could try running jmemory.jar with the following command: java -jar jmemory.jar > debug.txt From the cmd line or a batch file, then send me the debug.txt file to my email (see the bug report link in my last response)

First, thanks for fixing the problem I had previously (Crius compatibility for manufacturing jobs). I should have thanked you sooner, but better late then never I suppose.
I'm now noticing another issue, and I wonder if this is basically caused by how the EVE API works.
The problem is the following:
- I previously updated jEveAssets less than 24 hours earlier - I completed a huge (5 bil) manufacturing job and moved these assets to my personal hanger at a trade hub - I put a small bit of the output on the market (I never push huge stacks on the market at once)
Result: ~4.5 bil loss in total value according to the tracker
The theory I have is that the assets lists may be cached for ~24 hours or so? (at least for people with huge assets list: over 10k unique items in mine)
In that case I think what might be happening is that the value of the manufacturing job remains visible until it is completed and after this the value of the sell order is also still visible (both have short cache times?). But because I ran jEveAssets less than 24 hours earlier, the asset list is still the same, meaning that until the next update the remaining items will be invisible.
Is this logical? Or is there maybe another explanation? |

@Busje Komt Zo The cache time for assets is 6 hours, however, if multiple applications use the same API Key, the cache time in jEveAssets may be incorrect.
It's really hard to tell why you're missing ~4.5 bil, It could also be price changes. With 10K assets, small changes can add up.
You should check if it's included in the asset list or not, that is the only way to be sure. If it's a single stack, it should be really easy to find :)
Remember you can edit or delete tracker points, if you do not like what you see...
EDIT: Thank you for the kind words, always good to feel useful :)

I forgot to mention that I did indeed check the assets list and it was missing there.
I just did another update, and now of course the data has updated so the total isk value (in the tracker) is normal again (and it now does show up in the assets list), the only thing is that the graph looks a bit weird now... |

@Busje Komt Zo Then it's most likely an API cache problem as you suggested yourself. But, we'll never know for sure, as, we can never get the API return, where the assets were missing, again...
The graph can be edited: Double click on the point you want to edit.

Just want to say excellent tool, and has been extremely valuable in sorting and determining what I can sell and reprocess at a given update.
Just wanted to ask about the container column. Is there a way to see the container "Set Name" vs the name given. ex. Enormous Freight Container #1016124689354. This would make it considerably easier when tracking down various items during my searches.
Maybe I am just overlooking something. Thanks in advance |

@Meryk Sindrak I'm not 100% sure I understand the question (sorry).
You can rename containers in jEveAssets: 1) Do a or b 2a) Right click on an item you know are in the container you want to rename. Select "Name" > "Edit Container" 2b) Right click the container you want to rename. Select "Name" > "Edit" 3) Enter the name and press OK Now the container column will show the name you set, for that container...
I hope this is the information you need. if not, please, reply here again. I will do my best to help :)
