Hi
Around a year ago, i started doing some small investments, with a person i got to know through an alliance. The investment payed off, and all seemed ok, so i just keept investing, each week i would get a eve mail saying how much i had and how much i had earned, this keep going in for around + year, everything seemed fine.. How ever its now been 4 weeks since the last update, no mails, no response nothing. I know he was doing this investment thing with someone else, but here is the problem, never got the name, so the only person i can contact is the person i cant get a hold on.
So short question, any one know what happened to Vandrill ?, is my investment lost? (my guess is it is...)

From what you said it seems he was offering it in private. I don't remember ever seeing that character. You can use www.eve-search.com to trace down his latest forum activity leading up to the past 4 weeks to try and get some insight on what may have happened to him etc.
I don't see a whole lot of other options. Check contracts to see if he has done anything there over the past few weeks as well.

Man. I so much hoped for a random speculation post about one who thought he got scammed. And i had planned to say it was me for the lulz.

The guy you are looking for is Valandril NOT Vandrill. And yes it was an private investment he offered to his alliance (RISE).
I dont know what happened to him, some people said he took an eve break, some say he vanished. Not sure if he was a scammer or just went AWOL due to RL.
Some of the last comments from his investment thread were something like that:
"Hey Val, xxxxx (One of your investors) asked me to post an enquiry on whether you plan to provide the usual invetment updates with you leaving EVE for a while?"
"Hey val, If you're leaving then I want out of the program. I just don't trust anyone else to do this for me."
"Same thing, its about one month now, can i have my stuff?"
"I think Val is off to ebay with his new found wealth ^^"
Valandril on 29-10-2007 (last message fron him)
"Stfu :p
I still will be handling it, at mail and contact level, u will all receive evemail with all details tonight (just came from weekedn in mountains, sorry for beeing late)."

Tnx for the info, and yes your right its "Valandri" was just on work, so couldent log in and check my mail for the name .. sry..
well seems he somehow had plans on staying in contact, how ever i havent gotten any. Hopefully he is just taking a break! tnx for the info!
