Ok, so a few weeks back at a party i got talking to some of my friends mates. All 3 were drunk as well.... me  but after several incidents, the main one drunkenly setting my shoe on fire, hopping on one foot whilst patting it out.
(not easy when drunk)
but after that, spilling my drink and going to get another i returned to see they had gone home.
A few weeks later i got a text from somebody.. rather funny actually.

in the end we get sorted, and she seems really nice. From what i remember cute as hell too
yesterday (no idea why i didnt ask earler) i asked her age.. i was expecting anywhere from 16-18 and was shocked as hell when she said 14.
now im 17, this probabily aint the best place to ask but...
What should i do? ive told her shes young, she says she doesnt care and shes been out with older than me...
this is an alt dont want random hate mails going to my main if their is any.

There's no need to be embarrased over the question but i understand why you want to be anonymous.
You should tell her that she's too young. No doubt. Think with your head not your lower parts.
21 and 18 isn't the same as 17 and 14.
And to be quite honest i don't think there's much future in a young teen getting turned on by you having your shoe set on fire.

I have asked my real mates, its just combined mixed views and that didnt realy help well... at all.
Ive asked my corp also, mixed views again.
both have two main arguments:
1.) Its only 3 years
2.) Shes underage and its morally wrong.
i must admit, im feeling number 2 mainly.
always nice to have more peoples opinions tho

Same age as you and went through a similar thing a year ago, just tell her she is too young and after a brief period of feeling rejected she set's her sight's on someone else.

Two things.
One, if you DON'T care about having sex "right now" (yeah, as if... but who knows, maybe you actually want to be FRIENDS with her), then what's the problem ? 3 year difference, a bit later on, no freaking big deal.
Two, if you DO care about sex (and let's face it, you do), then it really, really depends on what country you're in (or, if in the USA, what state)... as each state and country have their OWN individual "age of consent".
Did you know, that for instance, in South Carolina, females CAN have sex from the age of 14 upwards and NOT be considered statutory *****?

And also, all due respect akita, but your putting words in his mouth, telling him in not so subtle terms that he should want to have sex with her, cause.. The formula for inappropriate age differences is:
(A/2) + 7 = B
A is your age, B is the minimum age for the difference to not be noticed.
17/2 +7 = 15 1/2, so without even going into legality, she is too young for it not to be noticed. People would assume she is your younger sister or something, so any public displays of affection would be noticeable. That could be trouble.
It would be nearly 3 more years before people wouldn't notice an age difference.
You could maybe use this to get out of it if you handle it properly. Maybe something along the lines of "I like you a lot, but it won't work just yet, people would think you're my sister, and we couldn't be together without them staring, which would be awkward". Something that makes it seem like it's not you that has the problem, but someone else. That makes for an easier letdown.

Can you think of any OTHER good reason why a 17 year old boy would find it "problematic" that he's interested in a 14-year old girl instead of a 16-18 as he thought she would be ?
I know I can't find any other reason (than "age of consent" laws) to have a problem with that age difference.
So, she's what, 9th grade, he's 11th grade ? Big deal.
I was dating a 11th grade girl when I was in 9th grade, but then again I was much more mature (intelectually speaking... emotionally, not so much) as several of her colleagues... of course, didn't work out all that well (was too busy with school, competitions and other "extracuricular" stuff back in 9th and 10th grade to care about girls all that much).
And in this particular case, we're actually looking at a 1 year emotional/physiological age difference, since girls usually mature roughly 2 years earlier as boys do (exceptions usually prove the rule, not the other way around).
So, don't put words in MY mouth.

She's 14 and she has allegedly been with loads of older men. Pardon me for being prejudiced but that tells me that she's a ****, or maybe jsut sexually naive. Either way, I wouldn't touch her for fear of contracting an std.

Apologies for being so sloppy in my attempt of conveyance. I'm tired.
So 'older men' doesn't in fact mean a man who's older than the OP? I think it does.
My point is it's better to assume the worst and be safe rather than sorry. A 14 year old who has been with quite a few guys over the age of 17 suggests to me that they have had sex. Very few teenage guys would go out with a girl without even thinking of the possibility of sex.

Number one, I chose you!
When I was your age, I would've chosen to ignore her. Not because of some moral reason but because I didn't find fourteen year olds attractive anymore.
My advice is this: forget about other peoples' sense of morality. Since she's all for it and if it's legal where you live it all comes down to wether you want to.

14 year olds don't know what they want. I have a sister who was in that situation, wanting to date a grade 12 who happened to be my friend. She had him for a week, then dropped him and moved on. 16 is a better age to start dating, and I know that from experience. I tried to date a 14 year old, and she shot me down at every turn. Then when she turned 16 she wised up and came to me, and we were together for 3 years. As tempting as it is, hold off for a bit, and if she still wants you in 2 years, go for it then
