Those above quotes were pulled from the eve faq area concerning security status and corporation information. Now maybe these two quotes would have been accurate about 6 or so months ago however today they are no longer the case.
It sickens me to see the vast amount of carebears sitting around in this game mining all the time and whining to get all pvp elements removed from the game.
I suppose the problem of being forced into 0.0 space doesnt bother me so much as the fact that 0.0 space is 99% pvp elements. There is little to no traffic coming through that has any acceptable cargo to take and the few times this does happen they just have gatemarks (ya gate bookmarks) so they instantly come out of warp into jumping.
And now the times when pirates fight back against the opression we have been suffering... and show a little backbone and unification then we get banned. But when carebears come together to get changes we get unscheduled downtime to fix their problems. Well this is clearly fair for all parties then, wouldnt you say?
One person losses a ship and the community out cries to get pirates whacked with the nerf bat. The next thing you know anyone with negative sec status wont be able to purchase battleships. CCP has been doing some really great combat changes lately as if they actually got the right idea only to then talk about 150km sentry range.... uh maybe I missed something here.
Should I bend over now or just wait for shiva?

most of the gates in EVE don't even have sentry guns.
try looking around asteroid belts or something. Doesn't it get boring sitting at one gate all the time anyways?
put a mobile warp disrupter 150km out from the gate in the most likely area a player will warp in from or something, I don't know.
the fact CCP increased the sentry gun range. Maybe it means CCP doesn't want you camping thoughs gates? But maybe CCP doesn't care if you terrorize players in the asteroid fields in these systems.
So try that, or maybe just camp a gate in 0.0 or something. |
