Oh man i was in a belt in a thorax with 9 harvesters sitting out. If I lost the harvesters I'm out 7 mil! If I lost the harvies and the cruiser I'm out 13 mil!!!!!! That's a lot of money for a relative noob like me.

for all the folks who just jumped into a bad npc spawn- guess now is when we see how well the new 'autowarp to safe-point on ctd' function from the last patch is working.
mmm, hope it works on me too;)

If this had happened an hour earlier I would've had 3 battleships instead of just 2 and now my kestrel is right outside the home base of a war enemy

WWWHHHHHEEEEEE!!!!!
Middle of a small battle with some warring corps, I got to the "Docking request accepted" bit, then *boom*. No idea if I'm docked, warped, dead, or just sitting there
That'll be the second Kestrel I've lost today if it goes badly.
I sure don't want to be the cluster admins right now. I'm an admin in RL and I'd be ****ting bricks

The problem appears to be a failure at Cable and Wireless Thames Side. It is not a link to Iceland Telecom but an internal C&W network link that has failed.
I'm sure Red Button and Co. are already tracking the problem down.

It does, I logged twice. First time when it went funny, second time when it went bananas. When I logged after the first time, I was sailing into the middle of no-where, which was nice, but rather confusing...

Seems like the servers hopefully will be back online soon. Spend the waiting time wisely. Get yourself a cup of coffee and be prepared to work hard.....because now we have some lost work to catch up for.
