There appears to be another Memory leakage that crept in 1393, that's become worse in 1403. Intensive disk access and long pauses in the client with no Connection activety.
Busy areas in empire can become almost impassable becasue of this without a reboot, along with severe sync problems, ships dancing in warp etc.
Even the Website is slow, and I'm only in Manchester. ;P
Time to stop and pause here guys before moving on.
Ya I'd love to see content but I'd far more rather see stability and alot more work done to the base framework and stability.
My other BIG bone of contention is with Chaos, I don't think you've no where near allocated proper facilities to allow a good number of players to be connected to test, and in many instances proxy is full at about 20 players.
Add a 0 on that and some bandwidth and perhaps the patches would be better commin out the door.

i TOTALLY agree with you its slow as heck... and its using ALOT of resources WHY? i used to be able to run the game messenger and winamp nop prob
NOW i cant even run the game properly.....
WHO CARES ABOUT NEW CONTENT???? Get stability and reliability.... fix the problems then create new ones.... dont just create new ones and just add on top of the old ones.... and i read all the content in the topics and it seems as 1403 is a really bad patch.... I cannot even connect anymore.... niceeee

I got my first BSOD since 2003 yesterday after exiting eve. Still it's the ati drivers that is pointed out on the bluescreen, but if it have started to leak again, I figure out why I suddenly got a bsod now after months of stability.

Hmm... I reported that what I thought was a huge lag spike... could it be due to this client problem I wonder?
Basically Nothing appeared to work for around 40 seconds in which time the rats managed to get close enough to lock my Raven down solid...
Or have the rats been given a new ECM module... Electromagnetic Client Lag Inducer II

Yep,
I've been having probs with 1403 too, warping's not right, dropping out of warp's not right, docking's not right, and jumping's not right.
Huge jump backwards - sorry CCP, not a good patch!

not suffering from any memory leaks but I've noticed very "jumpy" periods whenever someone decloaks.
Docking seems to require two requests at all times.
