It did seem a bit like the DoS attack someone used on the servers a while back, but then again it could be a simple explanation. If it was them, then I hope they were intelligent enough to use several proxies, I dont know many companies that take kindly to having their servers attacked

I think Zombie members getting a ban was out of line.
Their tactic was what? To shield tank a couple of scorps, to draw concords fire to those, and use support ships to constantly feed cap to the scorps so they didnt die... and whilst concord and relentlessly pounding those ships... other ships from their corp are able to move about freely shooting players in the system and stealing their cans?!
HOW IS THAT AN EXPLOIT, its just devious and ingenious use of the game mechanic. If CCP hadnt liked that, they could have just made concord ships indestructable in 1.0 or something, or made them spawn quicker or selectively target anyone that fires on them or on other players.
But instead they choose to just harshly ban people. Zombie should have been congratulated for making the game more fun and the Yulai system more then just tedious carebear hell.

Its true though CCP are more to blame then Zombie. They should have seen this bug in their game programming and sorted it before it actualy happened its what sensible game designers do.... nuff said. Zombie shoul have got a warning for CCPs mistakes!!!!!

Thats the point though, they were warned. Several times by all accounts, by theGM who went to the system. They ignored him, repeatedly. THATS why they were banned I believe, its quite clearly stated in the EULA that disobeying a CCP employee, no matter the circumstances, will result in a warning, then a ban.
As he warned them to stop, and they didnt, they were banned. Simple.

Well no not really Heidern. Thing is the "players" of eve constantly try to tell CCP about the bugs in the game but they just wont listen so when they show CCP the problems on the server they get baned its totaly crap.

You know monk, there is actually a test server for that sort of thing. You can go there and show the devs all the bugs you like.
"I was showing CCP a bug in the game, Im a hero!!1" is not a valid excuse for majorly screwing with the live server, not when they have Chaos specifically for that purpose.

Some people just seem to forget that this was deemed an exploit few months ago.
1.0 to 0.5 is safe and no killings are allowed there unless its in corp. wars, if its not a corp war and you kill someone and dont loose you ship your self you are exploiting game mechanics.
Its very very simple.
I know how to duplicate items, spawn isk from market, get real easy kills in empire, trap concord so they dont chase me ect, ect, ect but I dont because its exploiting, games have rules and when the rules are abused, bent and ignored people should be banned, temp ban first and then perm ban.
its very very simple.
Some bugs cant be fixed right away since it involves much work so certain actions are and will be considered exploits.
its very very simple.
