Nothing has really changed with the Omen since those setups were made, so they are most likely still valid for the most part. In reality, the Omen isn't that great a ship. A full gank fit Omen only barely equals the same DPS as a plated Rupture with minimal gank, and doesn't achieve the same versatility or gank of a Thorax ______________ Eloquence belongs to the conqueror.

Webber/scrambler AB / MWD 3rd slot Optional, but I prefer Cap rechager (with low cap skills) or track computer (if you fight frigates) Low. Heat sink x 3 (or cap power relays if cap skills are low) Med. Armor Rep. (for last low it depends what you fight, though most prefer armor plating or EANM) Drone bay 3 x light scout drones Omen is all about gank, and not about tanking. If you fit it with tanking stuff, it will only be a half decent tank, which makes it not so good at missions unless you know how to fly it and keep range. I suppose Omen does it's role best in a fleet/gang where you can utilize the rate of fire bonus and lower cap use to the max, and not worry too much about tanking it. As a solo/duo PVP ship or mission runner, the Arby and Maller are much better.

I tend to use mine as support for gang fights, it works pretty well, as it can take a good hit or two.
