Nah. The title is all you need. No sense putting in reasons supporting why NOS needs fixed via scripts (or...wait for it...how scripts would even BEGIN to affect how nos works).
What we have here is someone coming up with a rhetorical question in hopes that others will think for them.
And in the end they jump up and down with glee taking credit for anything said.

actually, i got distracted, went out, came back, and forgot what my idea was. It made sense at the time.
It was either getting rid of the NOS module and making a Energy Neut script that absorbs less the energy neut but takes a percentage of the cap, or scripts that affect capacitor recharge rates, or something that makes them more flexible [read: the way they used to, except not as overpowered]. Maybe one that works the way NOS works right now, but another one that absorbs less but at longer ranges, or more at shorter ranges [only because the interceptor ranges now exceed Large Neut range now, unless that's the dev's purpose], stuff like that.

right idea, wrong effects. scripts is either/ or
so, neut script = range/drain power but you dont want battleships with 20km neuts using range scripts and out ranging a curse :)

Hmm, combining the two modules into one that uses scripts is an interesting idea, but might be overpowered. --- Proud Amarr pilot.

I like the idea, something like, err:
power script: works just as nos works now, but with maybe 50% more transfer amount. You can only drain till you cap % is the same as your targets %.
cap script: transfers about 70% of currently, but it ignore's the enemies cap (I.E. you can drain your enemy to zero). It would be just like prenerf, but with slightly lower cap transfer amount.
Draydin > So, I'm going to fit my ship with nothing but lasers, cap rechargers, and heat sinks. Pillazo > Thats crazy! Draydin > Crazy like an amarr! Pillazo > amarr arent crazy... Drayin > O |

urm... no, maybe if you divided the cap transfer amounts by half, but essentially, yeah, a way to 'flip the switch' as in "Okay i nossed him enough, time to knock him into the uncanny valley by neuting him" or "interceptor, extend range, less cap neut.... gankathon, hmm, shorten range, more cap neut"
