What is the best way for an industrial-type character to share a mission bookmark with a combat buddy so that the combat pilot can complete a kill mission?
Is this possible without the industrial pilot flying first into danger?

Invite your buddy to gang, fly to the gate in a Shuttle or egg if there are hostiles there. Your buddy warps to you, and from there on in he can do the rest I guess. If it is not deadspace, same thing just make him warp to you as soon as you arrive and then you warp out again.

You dont even need to undock.
Open people and places, hold shift, drag the mission bookmark out of the list and into your hanger. Open trade window, trade to person doing the mission.

You can not drag or copy mission bookmarks, it is even the text that is displayed if you even try.

Make a gang with your combat friend, and do a gang warp to the mission area. But stop your own ship before entering warp. Your friend will continue warp and land on the mission area without you. Tada!
