hmm... I think it might be a little interesting. Tim Burton always surprised me.
Also, the worry is if there's NOT enough singing in the movie, since it's an adaptation from a musical.

With all seriousness, everyone should see this movie. I worked in Theatre for a few years, doing tech stuff, and this was the only play that didn't drive me insane after seeing it 200+ times.
My Fair Lady, Peter Pan, Fiddler on the Roof, all of them put one step closer to jumping off that catwalk with a rope around my neck. One more lyric, I swear, one more damned lyric and I'll do it.
But Sweeney Todd didn't do that to me! Make it was the gothic theme, or all the blood, but it's really a great show. As for the singing and stuff, you'll get over it. I was really glad to see that Burton was doing this, and with Depp and the others, there is no way anyone will be disappointed.
