I belong to a corp that is now hitting 4 months of age. We focus on moon mining and shall begin T2 Ship production soon. Sadly we donÆt have teeth, (PVPers) and probably wonÆt to keep out selves out of unneeded trouble.
What can we offer larger Alliances or Corps to encourage them to protect us from small Pirate corps that enjoy Declaring war on us? Put them on a T2 Ship of the week Program? Offer Logistic Support Cruisers to assist in their battles? Offer Repair Services for Damaged POSÆs? Simple Bribes in ISK or Time codes? Offer to pick up and drop items off in the CorpÆs Freighter? Offer to Pay for their Team Speak or Ventro Server?

You can offer logistic and ship reimbursement. Pretty nice stuff to a large alliance...

Yes.
To most everything you said. All those things have tangible value.
Killing people who wardec you is probably simple stuff unless you've got really big mouths. You're likely not to attract predators with all that much muscle.

Spend a few days mining, outfit all your members in expendable and corp insured t1 fitted cruisers, then go join in in the blob? Great for getting your members experienced with PVP..

Have you ever thought about merging into an existing corp? People willing to monitor and take care of moon mining, as well as T2 production, are often needed. You still may need to take part in defense, but maybe not offensive pvp if you are taking care of things back at home.

Ship replacements and discount mods are great and all, but I've found that the pvpers are glad to be there for the fight. One of the best things you can do for them is be their eyes and ears in the intel channels. Fast and accurate intel is perhaps one of the most desired commodity that you can bring to your pvp allies.

You can do some of those deals with some merc corp and sort your problems out :)

This is a good idea. You can have alot of fun, not much of a loss if you die and will get invaluable experience that will probably help you survive even better. Seeing the hunt from the other perspective will make you more aware of tactics that people use to get ya

given this char is not an alt, you just signed your corps death sentence by posting this here. you may want to start training some PVP skills now.

You can't avoid attention by avoiding PVP. All you do is bore those interested in PVP out of your corp, which means it never grows. If you intend on staying small and just doing Moon Mining, you'll find that Alliances beat your prices because they get the Soverignty fuel bonus and because they need towers up anyway for Soverignty.
My advice to you is to either join an existing 0.0 alliance moon mining program or be prepared to move / hide when you get wardec'd.

There are several solutions to your problem :
If you want to stay alliance free :
- Hire mercs - Merge with a pvp corp - Buy cheap ships (even BS can be "cheap" with full insurance) and fight back - Stay docked and wait for the war to wear off - Pay them to end the war
If you really want to join an alliance : - Just contact the leader you have most likely what any ally would like - Merge with a pvp corp already in an alliance ...
I don't think you'll have any problem finding people willing to help/protect/merge. The only problem is that post you just made was as good as stating : Hello we live there and we have packload of ISK and no teeth to protect it... Pretty attractive aint it ?
Anyway, if you want to contact Syntek Dominus, Ned Rafter or myself we might find a way to help you.

It might be cheaper to pay a merc corp than do anything for anyone like that. Might be.
