Nevermind. At the time I replied, you had a blank thread (or perhaps there was something wrong with my loading of it.

If you want to learn about the basics of PvP and then develop them into something a lot better then I can definetly say that there is no place better than Agony Unleashed
Agony Unleashed
The best way is to contact them using there forums as they are already very busy people ingame but you will learn a Hell of a Lot and I mean a HELL of a LOT The only way to make an honest living is to KILL KILL KILL BILL |

Ive heard good things about agony unleashed for pvp training. If your looking to just expand your knowledge of the game eve university is good but i hear they arent recruiting atm due to current wardecs.

Eve Uni recruiting is currently closed as we are in the midst of a couple of merc war decs.
Several of our members have attended the Agony Unleashed classes as adjuncts (live fire exercises) to the PvP classes taught by the Uni. Our students' positive experience with the AU classes has mirrored that of the general community.

Good to see you pal and thanks for the reference. Hope you're having fun.
To the OP, check out the Agony Unleashed website and check out our PVP-BASIC classes. We'll teach you the basics and then head off to 0.0 to kill and be killed in cheap ships without a need for super high skills.
After BASIC we have a number of more advanced courses you can take as well.
EDIT: Evesham, you posted the link wrong Agony Unleashed

I'll echo the Agony Unleashed recommendations. Never attended myself (learned via trial by fire), but I've heard nothing but good about 'em, and their fun ones to shoot

Another vote for Agony Unleashed. Great group of guys. Took a couple of their classes. Definitely worth the time and ISK. The classes are long, so plan on 8 hours, easy. You walk away knowing not only what to do, but WHY you do it that way. (Even more valuable in my opinion.) Bring some frigs, lots of ammo, and a beer or two. Bonus: their forums are packed with helpful setups and tons of tactical info.

The prob is I only did missions, and now I find myself lost in tactics, fittings, and terms in conjunction to PVP alliances or corps. Are there other groups like EVE U around who rehabilitate carebears. To EVE Uni I could help caldari students in PVE for training in PVP.
This is sad that after over five months only now am I begining to sample why eve is not WOW grinding from what I heard abou WOW.
wow sucks take it from someone that was in the clossed beta. don't get me wrong it can be fun if you are in a guild with 40 or so competent players who don't **** around on raids it is alot of fun :P but those guilds are rare... though playing wow drunk is better than eve drunk instead of dieing alot of loosing hundreads of millions of isk in eve you just have 40-100g repair costs for a night :P
drunk warlock tank FTW!
anyway i wish i kept up my skills on my eve char for the 2 years i played wow. 2003 char with 26mil sp ftl >.<
oh and wow grinding isn't that bad it is actualy really easy now to get full tier sets. now L2 that was some nightmareish grinding.
anyway the best pvp tip
dun fly what you can't afford to loose ------------------------------------------------ *insert whatever is being whinned about here* is not overpowerd you just suck... it'sfine lrn2playnub

Hmm too bad I'm not logged in on my other account, I could say a bit more :)
Everyone already knows I'm an alt, but I run a successful event anyways...
More to the point: There are a lot of programs out there that can help you with PvP, I run one, sorta, and there's no cost to it. No matter who you talk to in Eve, from the lowliest of low sec pirates to uber business people, everyone will tell you Eve Uni is one of the best organizations in all of Eve. They got war dec'd, and it's kind of sad...
I've heard good and bad with regards to Agony Unleashed. My opinion, don't pay for something that can be gotten for free with the same quality. The good I've heard has been full of praise, and the bad has been the complete opposite. Not that I'm bashing them, as they get a lot of business.
Join channel: Rifterdeath and I can hook you up with some info on how to pvp, if you can't get into Eve Uni, that is.

p.s. EVE UFC, only 1 more match to go until Season 1 Finals... an official announcement of when that match will be will show up in the Events forum in a day or two. Look for it to be about 1 week from now ish. *I know I'm shameless :)*

I tried to join Eve U once a while ago when I was but a nubbin. They wouldn't let me in because they were "at war." I didn't understand why them being at war would prohibit them from taking new people on.
Sometimes I miss being a nub. --

Since EveU is at war, they don't want to bring in new batches of newbs who would be just that much cannon fodder who don't get a chance to learn before getting podded repeatedly. Classes tend to flow a lot smoother when an enemy fleet isn't free to crash the party at will and kill all the students. _______________________________

But alas WoW sucked after BC.
On topic VAC is recruiting we are a pvp training corporation! Talk to Hamish Macgregor in game.

EveU is more than capable of defending itself and keeping its students safe, halting recruiting makes sense especially at a time of war due to intel. From what I have heard only one merc corp ever really put the hurt on EveU...their FC's know how to use their troops, and if you are lucky enough to be in EveU when they go to war you are bound to learn alot...

The reason we stop recruitment during war time can be summed up in 1 word.
Spies.
Yep, we are apparently so fearsome that people just have to put spies in the Uni. There was an extensive discussion on the CAOD forums once about this and we determined several reasons why there are so many spies.
1. They're scared of us 2. They want to learn to be spies (We don't teach this, sorry) 3. The spies use it as a stepping stone cover to get into other corps 4. The spies mains are too scared to admit they need our lessons 5. They simply want access to our forums as a resource (We have ALOT of how to's and guides on various aspects of EVE. 6. There is NO number 6. (Sorry, insider joke for the Uni people) 7. The Uni is a fun corp to be in, no matter how long you've been playing.
That's why recruiting stops during wars.
