Hi All,
What's the optimum combination of modules for capacitor recharge time? I'm currently using, on a Maelstrom:
(5 lows, 6 mids)
5 x Beta Cap Power Relay 2 x Large Peroxide Battery 4 x Eutectic Cap Recharger
With no rigs (this ship is used for missions the rest of the time), I can almost but not quite permarun 3 large partial E95c power conduits. According to EFT, my cap recharge peak is 180.9/second.
Is there a better way to arrange the modules for higher cap recharge?

It's full Cap Power Relay II in lows and full Cap Recharger II in meds. With 3 CCC rigs you can run 8 large cap transfers for 500/second. Just like a logistics cruiser I think. --------------- ∞ TQFE

Is plugging in 3 ccc1 no option for you? they'd do wonders for your recharge rate

Ditch the batteries, fit rechargers.
Hyperion has a pretty sick base cap amount and 6 lows so it may be a better choice, or perhaps an armageddon (8 lows = win). Sig removed for the third time, inappropriate content. Sig Locked. If you would like further details please mail [email protected] - Cortes |

Thanks guys
I can't afford 3 CCC rigs right now, spent all my iskies on other stuff
However I did realize that a couple of 5 hours skills allows me to fit T2 rechargers and also reduce my cap usage on energy transfers.
The thought of permarunning 8 energy transfers? day-um!

Edited by: Meiyang Lee on 26/11/2007 15:09:09 it really depends on the size of the ship, a large T2 cap-battery on a BS gives less peak recharge than a T2 recharger. On a cruiser or smaller however the appropriate size cap-battery will give more recharge than a T2 recharger in most cases. (depends on the cap-size of the ship) So a T2 medium cap battery gives a bit more recharge than a T2 cap recharger on a cruiser. But since the OP is using a battleship, use rechargers, battleship sized batteries are not big enough to give a bigger bonus than a T2 recharger would.
