Hi
I were wondering why my faction stading doesnt increase.
I need 4.0 in faction standing towards my Corp. (have 1,29)
The thing is that I have done at least 30-40 missions, including storylines.
But stading have not moved, im doing missions for Caldari navy, is that wrong?
Regards MK

Edited by: Mr Cleann on 26/11/2007 20:05:59 The only way to raise faction standings that I am aware of is by doing missions for that faction. As well as learning the social skills. Which help alot. If your standings are not increasing then I would file a petition about it or a bug report. You should see your standings climb after every few missions.

I'm sure this has been asked a jillion times, but at what point will Agent X introduce me to a Level 2 agent?
At some point I decided to do missions out of one particular base with 3 agents, then I just started hammering one agent, I increased my social skills, I've got about 2000 loyalty points with that NPC corp now...yada yada...what does your standing have to be?
Now that I'm in a cruiser, the level 1 missions just aren't challenging anymore.

See if you can find an agent for the corp you want to run for that is VERY close to a storyline agent for the same corp. If you can get storylines given by the same corp your standings go up faster. Otherwise its just grind, grind, grind.
Training Connections skill raises your standings also.

They won't.
You have to go searching for other agents. Check the information for the corp your agent is part of and it will list other agents and tell you where they are and if you can use them.

Maxim..
Try using agentfinder.. Great site for finding required standing for agents etc.
But thx for the advice, ill try doing some missions for the faction itself (caldari state)

You get a storyline mission every 16 normal missions. Regardless for which corp you are doing missions. With Caldari Navy, you will get caldari state faction storyline mission. Depending on level of your agent, it takes some time to get a significant increase in faction standing.
Btw, you are talking of Faction Standing towards your corp? Or towards YOU? Cause if it's towards your player corporation, that type of standing is calculated by the average faction standing of all your corporation members.

I'm currently on my 23rd lvl3 mission in a row, since my last storyline, and still haven't gotten the highly awaited evemail from the storyline agent. As far as I know I haven't failed / turned down any mission so far. Was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same...
Perhaps, during downtime today, someone forgot to activate the storyline agents?
Or do those 16 missions have to be done between 2 downtimes?

They have to be missions for the same faction, same level.

Which Faction is it, btw?
Only other possible solution I know of: If you fail missions, your number of must-be-done normal missions adds up. But as you haven't failed a mission yet.... no clue. You didn't decline 16 missions in a row before, no? ^^
Well, best solution would be to simply file a petition.

check the agents tab of the corp you are working for you will find that you should be able to access higher level agents training Connections also helps with this
after the initial agent you wil not reconmedations to other agents - you have to find them out yourself. -- BIG Lottery, BIG Deal, InEve [Now Verified] & Recruiting

Sixteen sucesfull missions for the same level agent in the same corp will give you an important mission if you fail one then that may go up by one each time.

Ok I have petitioned my missing storyline mission.
For some weird reason I should have gotten an evemail for my important mission during downtime :P 11:02 evetime. But because eve was down at that time I didn't get the mission. A friendly GM fixed it for me by re triggering the storyline mission :)
