Sunday evening I had 2 accounts locked up in there. It was the first time I though: why should I pay for this?
Just make a "System to busy" escape route. So you log into another system or something. And yes I go to Jita and will keep going to it...

I wonder how you ppl do this. I am in Jita everyday and even though it is often very very laggy, I never end locked up. You just need to wait, not keep restarting client after 3 mins.

jump to jita -> lag -> client timeout
1st attempt at login -> entering game -> lag -> client timeout
2nd attempt at login -> entering game -> lag -> client timeout
3rd...
...
76th attempt at login -> getting a hammer -> smashing the screen

It keeps trying to connect for 15 minutes or so, then get's back to the char selection page. I tried it numereous times. Sometimes I got a background view of the galaxy, and no hud after 45 minutes. Also another that was on route was warping to Jita from the gate for 3 hours... So no, I don't just have to wait, it just doesn't work.

Well as I said, I wonder why it happens only to someone. I sometimes wait 5-10 minutes on black screen when Jita is lagged badly, but I remember only one or two timeouts in last few months. But true is I try to not travel around when lag is very bad.

I always treat jumping into jita like jumping into fleet combat;
Disable all effects
Turn off game sound
close overview
close or minimize all chat channels
I aslo try to make sure that I have it set up that way when I dock, so I dont get lagged out when undocking. This seems to have worked for me.

I remember once I went to Jita got 'Stuck' so I pettionned it, anyway a few more mins pass and woot! I get in the station, then about about 1 min later in the middle of adjusting an order and woooooosh im in Perimeter or w/e its called I was 'unstucked'  .
Anyway I rarely go to Jita now due to my better skills and I never, never go to Jita on a Sunday, not even for cyber  no seriously I don't go now, well maybe on a wednesday at 1 o'clock.
