Well since you changed cap and size of ammo depending on type here is another suggestion.
Can you PLEASE also change the reload times as well depending on cap power usage per weapon????
For instance Lasers don't have a reload time but use the most cap power.
Hybrids are 2nd in cap power usage so they could get reload times of like 5 seconds.
Projectiles are 3rd in cap usage and should stay at 10 seconds.
Missile Launchers use no cap power and have larger ammo so they should get bumped up to 15 seconds.
So either that OR how about a special skill?? "Weapon Reloading Effeciency"?? It would give a 10% per lvl reduction in reloading speed and be like a rank lvl 5 to 8 skill.
Either one would work but the current 10 second reload being the same for each weapon type, except lasers, is not fun.

I might agree except for the missile nerf part, it's not like they need it.

you forgot that projectile guns, though they use no cap, fire slow, hold small amounts of ammo and have crap tracking. i like the way the guns are now. I am concerned at the growing tide of carebearism im seeing in eve, but maybe I have grown coldhearted.

I support the idea of an "Weapon Reloading Skill".
You could even have different skills for the different types of guns, i.e. hybrid, projectile, lazer (???) and missiles.
It would also be great if the Rapid Firing skill would affect missile launchers as well, seems kinda strange it only affects turrets. There are no boosters of any kind to launchers while there are many different types of boosters and skills that optimize turret performance.

The only thing they need to add is an auto-reload option. Just make it work the same as the auto-repeat option.
